They did it again! Capoeira Mandinga San Diego’s annual batizado...

…was, once again, a huge success!

With  the  presence  of  legendary  mestres  from Brazil,  such  as  Lobão,  Deputado,  Quebrinha, a n d   E s p i r r o -M i r i m ,   t o   n ame   a   f e w ,   a n d  capoeiristas from all over the US, it couldn’t have been any different.

The key  this year was keeping  it simple:   cheap and  fun!   With an entire week of workshops and rodas,   leading   to   a   weekend   ful l   of   excit ing  events,  everyone  was  sure  to  train  hard  and, most importantly, have a great time!

The secret equation?L e g e n d a r y   m a s t e r s   +   e n t h u s i a s t i c  capoeiristas + great energy= quality capoeira & samba= great fun

As   f o r   t h e   g r oup ’ s   wo r k   ha r d ,   p l a y   ha r d  phi losophy…   let ’s   just   say   that   the   Sunday  festivities  gave  the  event  its  grand  finale  with great food, games and never-ending live music!

Thanks  to  everyone who  participated, Capoeira Mandinga San Diego’s 5th graduation ceremony turned out to be an unforgettable event!
