Coachwise Case Study: Angling Trust Skills Award Branding © Angling Trust

description

The Angling Trust approached Coachwise for help with the creation of an award scheme aimed at 9–18-year-olds for the sport of angling. We provided four different branding concepts and once they settled on their preferred option, we set about implementing the look and feel for the Cast Awards on a series of sample projects. Books, flyers, certificates and promotional material were all mocked up to explain to the client how this award scheme would function across various platforms. The SolutionWith the average age of anglersincreasing every year, theAngling Trust were determinedto find a way to encourage thenext generation to get hookedon the sport at an early age.Coachwise’s copywritersworked with the client duringthe early stages of the project tosuggest suitable names andprinciples for the awardschemes. Cast and CatchAwards were suggested, beforethe decision was taken tostreamline the awards into onescheme that would suit all ages.

Following extensive research ofthe sport, and taking on boardcomments from the client aboutthe political need to embrace allangling disciplines in onescheme, we provided four setsof sample designs that wouldform the basis of this excitingnew award scheme.
