WAYZATA YACHT CLUB
A consistent use of these guidelines will not only visibly unify and distinguish
the Wayzata Yacht Club, but will also strengthen the equity of the long-term
brand. These standards are designed to recognize the WYC brand as a valuable,
strategic asset inspired by those who have shaped it. We welcome each brand
ambassador to take ownership of bringing the WYC experience to life.

The Wayzata Yacht Club is a hub of dedicated, passionate sailboat racers nationally recognized
for its leadership and growth of a preeminent, innovative regional sailboat racing community.
MISSION
The Mission of The Wayzata Yacht Club is to:
1. Provide and promote an affordable variety of high quality, competitive sailboat racing.
2. Advance the sport of sailboat racing.
3. Support other racing programs.
4. Recruit new members.
5. Promote training and development.
6. Improve facilities.
7. Provide a relaxed social environment.

PERSONALITY
Focused on racing. Dedicated to fun.
The WYC welcomes a dynamic community of sailors with a desire for the open
water. Characterized by a broad scope of cultures, geographies and identities,
we embrace adventure.
Every level of experience is welcome. Juniors, beginners and experienced sailors
are invited to partake in a fair and safe racing environment. We believe the best
way to learn is hands-on.
Our sailors and volunteers encourage camaraderie and teamwork in all
aspects of sailing. We offer an approachable opportunity to experience the
challenges and fun of yacht racing.
