Hyungsoo Kim

• What is it? This is the Bradley Watch – it’s a special kind of watch designed to help blind people tell the time. It was designed by a Korean- American student called Hyungsoo Kim. He was a student at MIT when he met a blind student who had trouble telling the time, so he decided to design a watch for blind people.

• Shape? It’s a very simple circular shape with a thin rec-tangular strap. The 12 o’clock position is triangular and the 3/6/9 o’clock positions are raised rectangular shapes. The minute and hour indicators are spherical metal balls.

• Colour? It’s a metallic grey colour with different colour straps.

• Material? The watch face is made of titanium and the strap is made of fabric.

• Properties? It’s very easy-to-use. Because it’s made of tita-nium it’s very long-lasting. It’s also very cool and stylish.
