News Alert! Cards (orange): 1. Caught in Ponzi Scheme: Go directly to Jail. Do not pass Go. 2. New Economy: Immediately choose a Boom/Bust card that is not on the board. That card is now in “boom”. Affected IP owners receive bonuses. 3. Market Crash: Immediately choose a Boom/Bust card that is not on the board. That card is now in “bust”. Affected IP owners pay penalties. 4. Market Shift: Immediately shuffle all four Boom/Bust cards, draw one at random which is now in “bust”, and another that is now in “boom”. Affected IP owners receive bonuses and pay penalties accordingly. 5. Economic Recovery: Remove the card in “bust” from the board; it is no longer in “bust”. 6. Elected Chairman of the Board: You gain $300M, and then pay each other player $50M. 7. Talent Strike: All players must pay $25M for each Visionary or Visionary CEO on a property for which they own the Controlling Interest, or else return the pieces to the Bank. You may choose to pay to keep some pieces and return others. 8. Futures Market: Immediately advance from 1 to 5 spaces on the board, your choice. Resolve the turn as if you had landed there initially. 9. Insider Trading: All players gain $500M and go directly to Jail. 10. Employee Poaching: You may choose to take a Visionary from a property that is not owned by you, and move it to a property that is owned by you. Both properties must have fewer than four Visionaries, but there are no other restrictions. If you do this, pay $250M to the Bank. If you do not do this, then discard this card with no effect. 11. Embezzlement: All players pay to the Bank $100M for each Visionary CEO on a property for which they own the Controlling Interest. These pieces are removed from the board and from the game (they are not returned to the Bank). 12. Jobless Recovery: All players may hire Visionaries and Visionary CEOs for half their normal price until the next player rolls the dice for their turn. 13. DoJ Antitrust Suit: All players who are controlling interest or joint owners in all properties of at least one color group, must choose one such group. For that group, they must remove all of their Ownership tokens, if any. 14. Credit Crunch: Each player must either: pay $250M to the Bank for each Bailout token they currently have, and then return all of their Bailout tokens to the Bank; or, receive a Bailout token from the Bank. 15. Frozen Assets: Players cannot trade with each other while this card is in play. Keep this card in play until the next player passes “GO”. 16. Strategic Purchasing: Advance to any space on the board of your choice, and resolve the turn as if you had landed there initially. If you pass “GO”, collect your income as normal. Handouts cards (yellow): 1. Too Big to Fail: All players count and reveal their current cash on hand. The player with the least collects $250M from all other players. 3. Legal Retainer: Immediately attach this card to an IP of your choice (it does not have to be owned by you, or anyone). All controlling interest or joint owners of this IP can get out of Jail for free for the rest of the game.

4. Golden Parachute: Use this card at any time to return one Bailout token to the Bank. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

5. Get Out Of Jail Free: Use this card at any time to get out of jail, free. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

6. Market Timing: Use this card at any time to remove a Boom/Bust card from the center of the table. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

7. Tax Breaks: Use this card at any time to receive $250M. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

8. Corporate Welfare: All players with $1.5B ($1,500M) or less cash on hand receive enough money from the Bank to increase their cash on hand to that amount.

9. Privatization: Immediately add three Utility tokens to the Utility of your choice. 10. Cartel: Use this card at any time to choose a color group where all IP in the

group are owned. All players who own at least one IP in that group add one of their Ownership tokens to all other IP in the same group that they do not yet own. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

11. Governmental Regulation: Immediately attach this card to an IP of your choice that is not a Utility (it does not have to be owned by you, or anyone). The “licensing fee” of this IP and the rest of its color group is halved for the rest of the game.

12. Government Auction: Use this card at any time to choose an unowned IP; that IP immediately goes up for auction to all players. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

13. Fail to Meet Analyst Expectations: Choose one: return a Visionary or Visionary CEO to the Bank from a property where you own the Controlling Interest, or pay $250M to the Bank.

14. Health Care Boom: You and one other player of your choice advance to “GO” and collect double your normal income.

15. Congressional Hearings: Use this card at any time to free all players in Jail. This card may be kept until needed or sold.

16. Investment Shelter: Keep this card in front of you. For as long as you have it, you pay nothing when you land on Luxury Tax. You may sell this card to another player.
