“Praça Brasil” a public space in the center of Volta Redonda, located near the UFF uni-versity compus, where the AIESEC in Volta Redonda office is located.

“Raulino de Olivei-ra” municipal soc-cer stadium. In the first months of the year the stadium hosts several ma-tches of the state c h a m p i o n s h i p often between fa-mous teams.

Volta Redonda, is located in the in-terior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and also known as the “Steel City” for housing the biggest steel company in Latin Ame-rica and first in the country. The climate is tropical, with hot and rainy summers and dry winters.

Besides being a city that is close and have easy access to various attractions, Volta Redonda is a city with low cost of living, of easy mobility by bus and by foot, it has no intense traffic and a very eficient public transportation system. The “Steel City” has all the perks of a small town with a big city’ culture, due to the fact that it serves as a economic, technologycal and academic center in the interior of the state.

Volta Redonda urban culture is the most efervescent of the region since the ending of the military dictature, fueled by its enormous universitary population. There are frequent cultural events and parties, apart from a notable night life.

The exchange participant will cerntanly have the opportunity to make a great social work in a tranquil city and get to know really well the place where will live and surroundings.

what will you find near volta redonda?

Two hours from the city of Rio de Janeiro, the city that is the face of Brazil abroad. There you will find beautiful beaches with the comfort of the big city. In the evening you have a wide range of options for fun.

Four hours from São Paulo, the lar-gest city in Brazil, where you can find wide diversity in nightlife and visit some of the most famous sights of Brazil, including parks and mu-seums.

In forty minutes by car, you can find a Finnish colony and one of the largest reserves in the region, the Itatiaia National Park, with beauti-ful waterfalls and stunning flora and fauna

Two hours from the Green Cost, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Angra dos Reis, Trindade and Mangaratiba form a true paradi-se. There you find the Big Island (Ilha Grande) where you can have the best time of your life.

Seeking an environment of inclusive education through actions of culture, information and Fun, Gira Mundo enables organizations working with young people and / or children foster an environ-ment of discussion about global issues.

The social project Gira Mundo works over 6 weeks, workshops and various activities the four human development priorities wi-thin an educational environment, namely:

• Cultural Diversity: see the need to perform a greater awa-reness and experience of these heterogonous, proposing a hike more focused mutual respect;• Entrepreneurship: Inserting the ability to innovate and bre-ak the comfort zone imposed by paradigms, the axis enables the project participants put forward the needs and solve them in dif-ferent ways;• Sustainability: Meeting the need to understand the proper use of natural resources, relate to activities that enable partici-pants to their responsibility to the world is an emergency;• Citizenship: To make participants aware of all their rights and duties, proposing greater than the other and serves the basis of this exchange of experience.

Job Description1- Prepare and develop the 6-week period presented workshops on topics aimed at design excellence;2- Participate in the virtual LEAD prior to arrival in Brazil, lea-ds and specific training throughout the project, as well as official events of AIESEC.3- Attend weekly meetings of project planning, recording the activities performed;4- Act with commitment, ethical and pro-activity in all perfor-med actions.The activities carried out in the project are intended to positively impact a site, the lives of children and young people and we belie-ve that through these 4-axis guides, you are the person who can be the agent of change.

Expected results at the end of the internship- Number of project participants;- Retention of participants to the site;- Conducting activities carried out according to established plan-ning;- Realization of 4 axes of social development.

A project that works exactly with the greatest needs of an NGO: marketing and administration. The Smarketing, designed to res-tore and assist through consulting, promotes an international environment for NGOs, expanding concepts and establishing an operational planning of six weeks, contributing to the need to improve and expand the social promotion.

Goals:- Offer to NGOs the opportunity to internationalization and more focused on external environment products and endomarketing strategies;- To train the employees of NGOs so they can continue the acti-vity and implemented tools;- Promoting NGOs in terms of marketing, developing an effective communication plan;- Develop fundraising strategies focused on community or au-dience attended.

Job description1- Prepare and develop in the 6 weeks period the specific ma-terial about the goals focused on excellence of the project;2- Provide support to the local administrator, prioritizing the proper development of the operational plan;3- Participate in the virtual LEAD before arriving to Brazil, LE-ADs and specifc training throughout the project, as well as official events of AIESEC;4- Participate of weekly meetings of project planning, recor-ding the activities performed;5- Act with commitment, ethics and be proactive in all exerci-sed activities.

Expected results at the end of the internship:- 90% of the actions guided achieved in specific operational plan;- 80% effected communication plan;- Fundraising action performed;- Promotion of NGOs in certain numbers of communicative vehi-cles.

AIESEC developed in the project X4Change the opportunity to work learning a second language in a dynamic and culturally en-riched mode, that because the project brings in its proposal the facilitation made by people like you, that are immersed in an ex-change to transform realities.Proposing an interactive environment with an open construction method with the participant, each workshop produces different concepts for different audiences and can meet kids (8-10), teen (11-14) and Young (15-18) occurring flexibility according to each local applied.

Learning Points:- Cultural sensitivity skills;- Experience a very cultural and unique team;- Get in touch with Brazilian culture;- Develop teaching and presentation skills;- Work in a multicultural team.

Job description1- Prepare and develop in 6 weeks period the specific mate-rial about the goals focused on excellence of the project;2- Develop the material to be used in this period, following the schedule-based and guidance of the management team;3- Participate in the virtual LEAD before arriving to Brazil, LE-ADs and specific training throughout the project, as well as offi-cial events of AIESEC;4- Participate of weekly meetings of project planning, recor-ding the activities performed;5- Act with commitment, ethics and be proactive in all exerci-sed activities

Expected results at the end of the internship:- 100% of 3 steps completed;- 100% of the implementation of the activities of learning step;- 80% of the students with significant learning.

The Bom amigo (Good Friend) project carries the appreciation of the old life, transforming its routine in nursing homes for a new perspective and showing how the world can still contribute and receive from him, in a unique way. Experiencingactivities that develop cognitive, emotional intelli-gence and integration cultural, each exchange student explores and magnifies dreams and achievements feelings nurtured the love that no longer received.

Expected results at the end of the internship:- Number of elderly participants;- Number of activities performed;- Number of learning internalized;- Satisfaction of the participants;

Job description:Lasting six weeks, at an average of 4 hours per day are performed individual and small group activities within the areas:- Emotional Intelligence: providing the valuation of intrapersonal (self knowledge) to understand new perspectives and appreciate the achievements that make them better able to analyze this in a constructive way and working interpersonal to enjoy a good re-lationship and empathy for the many people who are the around with similar or completely different stories;- Cognitive Development: to promote a playful manner the “rele-arn how to learn”, causing them to extend their findings by inser-ting innovations that connect usefully for their lives;- Cultural Integration: immerse each participant in the exchange student culture of reality, motivating them to break down preju-dices, barriers and broaden their worldview.
