Fall has come quickly again whichs means it's catalogue time for you mailbox!It's a time of year which we all look forward to as it give us a chance to reflect on ourcalf crop and to get a look at other breeders’ cattle and what they are offering in thefall run.

2013 has been one of great optimism with abundant feed that has replenishedthe feed stacks in Ontario as goes along with a very strong cattle market. We areseeing cows at the yards bringing a new high and the yearling and stocker run isgoing over extremely well with prices never seen before in some cases. The cost ofgain has fallen considerably for the feedyards, demand for beef cows is increasingexponentially as the shortage remains. What does this mean? Well, we've talkedand dreamed about it for a long time, but those with cattle in their inventory are in aterrific position. Nothing brings a smile to our faces faster then strong prices and anactive market!

Here is a nice January heifer with a low birth rate and a “CanadianStamped” pedigree.

This is a heifer Shane really liked and thought would represent us quite well.This is a true Blue Water pedigree with some of the masters involved.

Her grandam was bought out of the 1998 Blue Water Sale from DennisBridge and was the best cow we have ever owned. Her great-grandam wasowned by Gary Harron.

The Headliner cow family makes up half of our herd. This heifer possessesa lot of style, docility and built in carcass traits. Take a good look here!

Any animal that has not proven itself a breederwithin six months after the date of sale, if, in healthy condi-tion, may be returned to seller at buyer’s expense. The sellerreserves the privilege of trying for a period of six months toprove the animal a breeder. The seller, at his option, may ei-ther return the purchase price to the buyer or replace the an-imal with another of equal value in full settlement andsatisfaction of ALL claims. Any complaints regarding fertilityof any animal in this sale shall be directed to the Contributor.

All complaints regarding breeding difficulties must be re-ported in writing by the buyer to the seller within the timespecified above and any animal returned must be free fromdisease and in good health. Any calendar year heifer calfshown and/or flushed by the purchaser is no longer guaran-teed a breeder under this paragraph #9.10. Her second calf is a gorgeous daughter of Bon-nie Chance 10A that we will very likely never sell. Her next calf is a herdsire for Jan Joyce at Meldrum Bay and her bull calf this year is already soldto a purebred herd. We rarely sell cows bred to Bonnie Chance Bardolene10A but this cow is special.
