Passive FTTH Network Termination Box with Optional Optical CATV/SAT-TV Receiver Module

Application

The FWO is a universal wall outlet for termination of in-house fiber optic cabling. It provides a comprehensive

solution for the fiber deployment in MDUs including:

• the passive fiber termination for up to 8 fibers

• the active termination of optical CATV/SAT-TV signals in combination with the BKtel Optical Compact

Receiver OCR (optional)

• an optical path through port in order to connect GPON/GEPON or EPTP FTTH customer premises

equipment (optional)

Features

4 Fiber termination box for up to 8 low bending loss fibers (G.657A).

4 Universal splice holders for heat shrink splices or crimp splices included (8, 4 with installed Receiver Module).

4 Up to 4 Simplex SC adaptors or 4 Duplex LC adaptors on front for passive fiber termination.

4 Carrier for BKtel Optical Compact Receiver (OCR).

4 If the OCR module is installed, up to 2 Simplex SC adaptors or 2 Duplex LC adaptors can additionally be installed

4 Possibility to lock and seal the housing with a supplied screw and seal

4 Bottom /top/rear access for fiber break out cables

CATV Disable

The CATV disable pin 5 allows to deactivate the RF output by a 0-0.8V logic signal level; a 10 kOhms pull-up to VCC is internally connected to this pin (low=deactivated).
