THE COMPANY
BKM Property Managers Limited is a private limited company incorporated in Kenya, under
the Companies Act (Chapter 486), Laws of Kenya. It is a medium sized company offering
professional property management services to corporate entities and individuals in general.
The company was established in the year 2009. It occupies a spacious office at Duplex
Apartments, Upper Hill Road, Nairobi. The location of the company is within walking
distance of all the major places in the City as well as Government Offices and its environs.
Its main areas of practice include carrying on the business of the management of both
commercial and residential properties including consultancy on property management, act
as agents for clients to review and approve drawings and samples to ensure they are
consistent with concept designs for projects and to review and evaluate implementation of
projects while in progress and upon completion, assess project resources and limitations
and to identify life and safety requirements in projects; to prepare bid documentation,
collect and review bids and assist clients in awarding contracts, among others.
MISSION
The mission of BKM Property Managers Limited is to be a frontrunner among other
management companies in the provision of residential and commercial property
management and services both in the assigned regions and where opportunities for
expansion may arise.
The company’s goal is to offer appropriate and affordable services that present property
management solutions which will enrich the lives in individual customers and corporate
clients through an effective and efficient way.

OBJECTIVES
Our objectives are:-
To carry on the business of the management of both commercial and residential
properties including consultancy on property management.
To provide cleaning services, garbage collection, gardening and landscaping services.
To provide services encompassing rent collection, payment of levies, rates and land
rent and other property related charges on behalf of the owner/s of a property and
soliciting of prospective tenants for owners of buildings;
To act as agents for clients to review and approve drawings and samples to ensure
they are consistent with concept designs for projects and to review and evaluate
implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion.
To assess project resources and limitations and to identify life and safety
requirements in projects; to prepare bid documentation, collect and review bids and
assist clients in awarding contracts.
To carry on the business of landscapers, art, planning, design, management,
preservation and rehabilitation of land and the design of human-made constructs;
To modify the visible features of an area of land, including living elements, such as
flora or fauna and to engage in the art and craft of growing plants with a goal of
creating beautiful environment.

The company’s agenda is to develop strong teams of professionalism drawn from local
experts through vigorous training as a basis of developing capacity to provide the required
industry standards for the needs of management in regional economies and business
sectors.

THE TEAM
BERNARD KIMANTHI MWONGELA Bernard Kimanthi Mwongela is a graduate (BCOM-FINANCE OPTION) from catholic university of eastern Africa, CPAK holder. He has over Ten years of experience in these areas and has acted for medium corporations and organizations. KIMONYI MUTISO Kimonyi Mutiso is a qualified Property Manager with over 20 years’ experience in estate management. He holds Diploma in Property Care Management and has attended and undergone various Property Management training and seminars. Mr. Mutiso is the Operations Director at BKM. IAN MBOGO Head of Sales & Marketing, BKM Property Managers Ltd. Ian is the Head of Marketing at BKM Property Managers. He identifies and initiates new business ventures at BKM. Ian holds B.Sc. Information Systems and Technology (USIU). He particularly uses Digital Marketing to reach out to new tenants, property owners and buyers. Peninah Ndunda Peninah has Diploma in Business Administration and Office Management. She is our company Administrator who aligns co-ordination between various departments in our organization. Jacinta Musyoki She is our Accountant based in our Head Quarters in upper hill office. She is in charge of preparing various client accounts and reconciliation.

Morris Kyalo Morris is a qualified Accountant who works in our account department to ensure collection of various accounts, administration of service charge, payments to various suppliers for respective properties. He ensures 100% service charge collection and proper statements to property owners, tenants are maintained for various properties we manage. Thaddeus Idi Kiplimo Thaddeus holds B.Sc in Project Planning and Management from Moi University. He is in marketing Department whereby he identifies potential areas for BKM service delivery. He is currently mapping out unoccupied houses for BKM to market for tenants to occupy. Simon Musidia Simon is our Office Assistant who visit our various properties ensuring quality of service is adhered to. The planning progress involves the following three phases:-

Deduction of the overall working plan which includes deadlines budgets that has to

latest operating systems, accounting softwares and word processing packages. We do
regular backup both onsite and online to ensure that data is 100% protected. The said data
is protected by proprietary technology to ensure data privacy for our clients.
We run a very vibrant website www.bkm.co.ke that boast over 10,000 web visitors a
month. The website displays listings For Sale houses, To Let vacants and plots that we have
been given to sell on behalf. Our marketing team also utilizes the power of social media to
reach out tenants for the vacant houses and would be property buyers.
We use SMS platform for sending reminders to tenants reminding them of rent dues and
also occasionally send SMSes to home owners on important matters that requires their
attention.
