Summary

The Students have proposed a dynamic networking over existing network. The equipment that they have used in project is Cisco which is highly reliable and efficient as it is used through the whole world. They have divided network in three layers which is Core, Distribution and Access. In core layer, they used Cisco 2800 series router whose working was to route the network and maintain DHCP server. In distribution layer, they make vlans for dividing the network into different segments. Also provide redundancy at distribution layer that lets if one distribution switch fails the other will automatically take over. Final is access layer which basically provides the connectivity to end users.

Security Features: 3 layer security, vtp modes, and user authentication

Solar Cooking - RedefinedBy: Sarthak Kapoor, Alan Kumar

Two students of V Semester diploma in Mechanical

Engineering, Faculty and Staff have been able to demonstrate

cooking of different food products through solar energy.

Conventional form of solar cooking utilizes a solar cooker

which consumes time and is not an economical option. This

project demonstrates a simple and cost effective way of cooking

food products using a glass bowl with a selective coating on

both the inner and outer surface. It was observed that a

maximum of 261 degrees centigrade was achieved at the outer

surface and 105 degrees centigrade at inner surface.
