ParkingThe Museum has three paid parking options for cars and vans: the Huntington Lot, the Fenway Lot, and the Museum Road Garage. The entrances to all three parking areas are located on Museum Road, which connects Huntington Avenue and the Fenway on the west side of the Museum. Drivers receive the member parking rate by presenting their chaperone sticker to a parking attendant in the Museum Road Garage lobby before paying upon departure. Discount only applies to self-park options.

ArrivalPlease arrive 15 minutes before the party is scheduled to begin and enter through Group Entrance in the Linde Family Wing, located on Museum Road across from the MFA garage. If you arrive late and don’t see your group at the entrance, please go to the admissions desk so that a staff member may help you.

NOTE: The MFA does not open until 10 am on Saturdays and Sundays. For morning parties, please arrive early to park, but you will not be able to enter the building until 10 am.

Drop-off and Pick-upPlease stay with your child at the Group Entrance in the Linde Family Wing until the hosts and instructors arrive. Children under the age of 14 cannot be left by themselves and may not be dropped off or picked up in any of the MFA parking lots. Children age 6 and up may be dropped off with the hosts for the duration of the party, but we will need their grown-up’s name and cell phone number in case of emergency. If you do not wish to stay with the group, you can meet your child when the instructors escort the party attendees to the Group Entrance at the end of the party.

Chaperones All grown-ups are free and receive a chaperone sticker upon arrival. This sticker allows you to visit the Museum without having to pay admission and continue exploring in the galleries with your child after the party ends.
