The Rosewood at Fort OglethorpeRegency Retirement Village of Birmingham
Hello Residents,
I want to wish everyone a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! I love this short
poem, and I hope it brings a smile: May your troubles be less and
your blessings be more, And nothing but happiness come through
your door. We feel so lucky to be able to share this day of fun with
each of you. Be sure to wear your green!
We realize that communication is the cornerstone of quality care.
Timely and effective communication is so important to our philosophy
of care at Rosewood. During our Care Plan meetings with our families,
I strive to reinforce our commitment to the 3-legged stool concept...
fostering communication and collaboration between the Rosewood
Care team, families, and the doctors. If we all remain united and share
what we know about our loved one, we can provide wonderful care.
As a team, we can accomplish so much more, and if we are not all
united, we have a wobbly stool. We so much appreciate the honor that
you have bestowed on us to care for your loved one. So as a first step
in making communication easier, we encourage you to use the phone
numbers listed. We will be mailing a magnetic card with the Assisted
Living, Memory Care Nursing and Personal Care Med Tech depart-
ment cell phone numbers. By calling these numbers directly, you will
be able to find out about your loved ones in a more timely manner. Of
course, the Rosewood main number is still available. Thanks for help-
ing us better serve you!

Congratulations to Laura Raulston on being our resident of the month.
She enjoys trivia and the therapy pets. She especially enjoy times when
Charlie the therapy dog comes and experiencing animals from the
Chattanooga Zoo with James. She loves to comfort and help other resi-
dents. She enjoys holding the dolls that were donated to the unit in
December. She is lucky at playing bingo.
