Artist •A day in the life of an Artist is

the expression of a specific and unique version through painting, sculpture, drawing, or mixed media.

•When some may be spending time at in workshops, attending other artists’ shows and seminars, and doing research, the heart of the profession.

Paying Your Dues

• Throughout history artist are seen as both brilliant and innovative but history has also seen many starving artist.

• Now-a-days getting an education is part of the normal in the artistic field.

• With most earning BFAs in graphic design, painting, or art history.

• Some find it helpful to continue their education and earn graduate degrees.

Associated Careers

• There are many different types of occupations in the Artistic field.

• Many can work as commercial artists, computer artists, and electronic layout consultants.

• Some of these beginning Artists may become magazines directors or even artists in advertising, promotion and product design.

Reaction

• Becoming an Artist would be a very creative and inspiring job that i feel would suite me and this profession I could be happy with. This career meets all my Holland code requirements and I would enjoy doing this profession everyday.

• The day in the life of a teacher is the constant outlook of a good sense of humor and the ability to think like their students.

• Teachers are going to have to be comfortable with their students and with the spectrum of different personality types.

• But every day teachers must want to make a difference in the lives and futures of their students.

• For most teachers a college degree is required for this profession.

• It will take four years of college and a fifth year student teaching.

• And some post graduate can become teachers by returning to school for a master’s degree in teaching.

Reaction• In the Education field of being a

teacher I feel I would peruse this career in my own life and I am going to college to become a teacher as well. It is a very social and creative job that I feel I would be good at.

Musician • The day in the life of a musician can be

anywhere from a rock star, opera singers, folk guitarists, jazz pianists, violinists, drummer or anybody who creates and performs music.

• Musicians face rejection all the time, but the most disciplined individuals maintain confidence in their abilities; they can never allow themselves to become complacent if success is the goal.

Reaction

• I would love to get myself into the music field of work. Music is my life and I don’t know what I would do with out it. I've Been singing for 4 years now and I enjoy everyday of it and I see myself being a musician for the rest of my life.
