Fruit

Monocot

• Angiosperm whose seeds have two cotyledons

Annual

• Flowering plant that completes a life cycle within one growing season

Biennial

• Flowering plant that completes its life cycle in two years

Perennial

• Flowering plant that lives for more than two years
