Bilnor is a privately owned company that was established in 1982 by Antoon Lombard. It began as a one-man business providing small time labour hire to mines in the Limpopo area. Over the years Bilnor has moved with the rapid growth and changing times of South Africa and is today a Black empowered company directed by a B.E.E Partner, Antoon Lombard and his two sons. Today Bilnor is one of the leaders in their field providing qualified artisans, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labourers according to each company’s individual needs in Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North Cape, Gauteng and North West Province.

Our Clientele includes companies such as Anglo Platinum, Anglo Coal, BHP Billiton, Hitachi, Wade Walker, Komatsu, Samancor, Roymec, Xstrata, Grinaker, Steffanutti Stocks, MCC, MPS, Petro Tank RSA, Barloworld, Liviero & Concor.

The foundation for our success is our commitment to provide a first class, personalized service to our Clients and Employees. We have a strong team ethic in our offices and our focus is to build strong client relationships. Our Field Consultants are qualified and experienced in their areas

of expertise so we have a better understanding of our Clients unique needs. This enables us to be more efficient in assessing and placing our Employees in their positions.

One of our main goals in recruiting is always staying objective during our interviewing and selection process so we constantly strive to provide highly qualified, skilled and productive individuals to our Clients. During our interviewing process we stay away from mainstream generalizing and stereotyping by realizing that each individual is unique in their qualifications, skills and abilities and we never discriminate against race, culture, gender or creed.

Flexibility is one of the biggest advantages as we provide you with the labour only for as long as you need it, increasing and decreasing the amount of artisans and labourers according to our Clients fluctuating operational requirements, saving on your Company expenses such as housing subsidies, pension fund contributions, medical aid coverage, leave and notice pay.

Suitability is another advantage as our offices tackle the time consuming task of assessing

employees, checking qualifications and references and selecting appropriate people for the job at hand. Due to our extensive experience and our proven track record, we have more than 10,000 cv’s of qualified personnel in various trades and skills on our database. We undertake the time consuming and costly process of verifying each Candidate’s qualifications and Certification. If by any means our Client is unhappy with the suitability of an Employee we strive our utmost to rectify the problem and provide the right person for that particular position. Keeping strong relationships with our Clients is of the highest importance to Bilnor.

Precaution is wise when you are seeking an Employee for a prospective permanent position so it is of an advantage to our Client to hire through us as you will then better know the person before offering him a place on your payroll. Termination is a difficult road to travel and a long process of disciplinary actions and hearings are required to prove incompetence. When hiring through Bilnor you avoid such situations, and can better select the most suitable candidate for that position.

Labour’s employee placements are being permanently employed by the Clients.

More than 90% of all Bilnor Labour’s employee placements are being permanently employed by the Clients.

Reduced administration expenses are a further advantage to our Clients as a single invoice is levied for labour services rendered.

ADVANTAGES TO THE EMPLOYEE

At Bilnor we personally assist our Employees in any way we are able. Many of our Employees have to relocate and be away from their families for as long as they are being contracted, Bilnor assists them with housing and traveling ballowances where possible. We personally assist them through their medical checks, and can assist them in acquiring a loan when starting their contract. All of our Employees are paid monthly and our offices are always open to them to help them in any way we possibly can. Our Employees are highly important to us, as it is their qualifications, skills, ability and experience that keeps our Clients productivity at a maximum.
