Energieunternehmen können mit Big Data • detailliertere Daten • in Echtzeit • zu geringeren Kosten • selbst in vorher unzugänglichen Stellen erheben, um die Produktion zu optimieren. Einer Studie von Bain & Company aus 2014 zufolge kann der Produktionsoutput durch Big Data um 6 bis 8 % verbessert werden.
