CAUTIONFollow the guidelines for use, accordingto the bur manufacturer's instructions.Never use a bur if the tip is not com-pliant, as there is a risk it can becomedetached during the procedure and in-jure the practitioner, and the patient orthird parties.
5 Operation5.1 Changing the burPush-button bur locking.1. Press the push-button and sim-
ultaneously pull the bur.2. Press the push-button, insert the new
bur until locked in place and releasethe push-button.
3. Check that the bur rotates freely andcheck it is locked by gently pushingand pulling the bur.
5.2 Operation
CAUTIONAlways check that the bur is in placeand rotates freely. If it does not, contactyour usual supplier or Bien-Air DentalSA for repair.
CAUTIONDo not operate the device until a toolhas been inserted in the chuck. To pre-vent the push-button from overheating, which could lead to burns, it must notbe pressed accidentally when the in-strument is rotating. Soft tissue(tongue, cheek, lips, etc.) must be pro-tected by moving it away using aretractor or dental mirror.
CAUTIONAlways ensure that the spray outletsare not obstructed.

9 EMCElectromagnetic Compatibility(technical description)The intended EM environment (per IEC60601- 1- 2 ed. 4.0) is Professionalhealthcare facility environment.
CAUTIONThe TORNADO turbine complies withthe EMC requirements according to IEC60601-1-2. Radio transmitting equip-ment, cellular phones, etc., should notbe used in the immediate vicinity of thedevice, since this could affect its op-eration. The device is not suitable forbeing used close to high-frequency sur-gical equipment, magnetic resonanceimaging (MRI) and other similar deviceswhere the intensity of electromagneticdisturbances is high. In any case, ensurethat no high frequency cables arerouted above or near the device. If indoubt, contact a qualified technician orBien-Air Dental SA.Portable RF communications equip-ment (including peripherals such asantenna cables and external antennas)should be used no closer than 30 cm(12 inches) to any part of theTORNADOturbine , including cables specified bythe manufacturer. Otherwise, de-gradation of the performance of thisequipment could result.
CAUTIONThe use of accessories, transducersand cables other than those specified, with the exception of transducers andcables sold by Bien-Air Dental SA asspare parts for internal components, may result in increased emissions or de-creased immunity.
CAUTIONUse of this equipment adjacent to orstacked with other equipment shouldbe avoided because it could result in im-proper operation. If such use isnecessary, this equipment and theother equipment should be observed toverify that they are operating normally.
The TORNADO turbine is intended foruse in the electromagnetic en-vironment specified below. Thecustomer or the user of the TORNADOturbine must ensure that it is actuallyused in such an environment.
