Our sit-on-top range is extended this year with the arrival of the Diablo, joining the celebrated Bilbao model in our all-rounder kayaks range. It incorporates the same qualities and design features, fittings and finish that have made the other kayaks in our sit-on-top range so successful, and like all the other BIC Sport kayaks, it's 100% recyclable at the end of its life. In our range of high-pressure inflatables, the new Nomad pushes the concept of the go-anywhere kayak even further with some innovative design features.

Our range of fittings has been further improved with brand new futuristic backrests and an extended range of paddles to suit all styles and sizes of paddler.

Sustainable development : a priority for BIC Sport

In order to respect the environment, our kayaks are made in thermoformed polyethylene, a particularly ecologically friendly material, as during its production very few hazardous chemicals are used and there is no wasted material. Again in the production of the kayak, all excess material is broken down and recycled back into the production process, any gas emissions into the atmosphere are negligible and the water used for cooling is recycled.

been particularly developed for optimum paddling comfort.• The seat is roomy and comfortable, and is also inclined and padded to keep the paddler in place, and relieve leg pressure while using the foot braces.• The centre of gravity is positioned low for better stability, but above the flotation line so that the bottom of the seat stays dry. THD - Tri Hull Design : designed for funThe unique THD shape provides the optimum in speed, comfort and stability for BIC Sport Kayaks. The result of 30 years of BIC Sport watercraft design and innovation, the THD shape has been developed to provide improved gliding and stability while maintaining maneuverability. Inspired from current tri-maran designs, the THD shape features a central section (1) for increased gliding, two outside hull sections (2) to stabilize the kayak and two intermediate concaves (3) to create lift and an optimal mix of water and air for heightened performance. These designs have also been picked up on by the Observeur du Design, which has awarded BIC Sport numerous prestigious

The BIC Sport inflatable kayak range is aimed at two types of kayakists: those who do not have enough room to store a rigid kayak during the winter, and those who like to travel and bring their kayak with them, appreciating their lightness for easy transport on foot, by plane or by car. BIC Sport inflatable kayaks are constructed with both high pressure and low pressure inflatable components. This innovative design is what gives them superior glide and performance qualities when compared to other inflatables on the market.

Kayakists who started with the Sit-On-Top can easily progress with the new BIC Sport Sit-In Adventure Kayaks. With their longer and more powerful hull, kayaking on the Adventure kayaks brings different sensations and better glide to go off for longer trips. Their cockpit is wide enough to let one get in and out easily in capsize situations and their width ensures a certain stability.

The Kalao is a veritable 4x4 of the kayak world. Equally at ease on the sea, rivers or for fun, it really is the kayak for all adventures.

Like all BIC Sport kayaks it features plenty of innovations. The fluid, stable hull design makes it simple for a family of two adults and two children to all ride together in complete comfort. That makes it the first true 3 (adult) person sit-on-top on the market, with 3 proper ergonomic seats. Essentially, the Kalao combines capacity of the old style family canoe, with the safety of a Sit-on-Top kayak!The other big first : it can be adapted to take an electric motor. The largely flat hull design with very little water draught is extremely stable and allows the kayak to go almost anywhere. The Adventure is the logical next step after our SOTs, enabling one to move on to a more physical type of kayaking, without difficulty.

Its glide and performance is much better than that of a Sit-On-Top and its little skeg at the stern give its good tracking.Its wide cockpit gives good leg protection and it can be fitted with a spray skirt. Wider than on more sporty types of kayaks, it allows more freedom of movement and allows one to get on and off easily without the fear of staying stuck. On the Adventure, it is therefore easy to get back in after capsizing, after a swim or an under-water diving session.Stable, compact, fast, it has been designed with comfortable volume, and is equipped with large hatches for storage. With the Adventure you can go off on a trip with enough equipment (up to 135 Kg max load) and track fast without necessarily having had lots of practice.

The YAKKAir range is a true revolution in inflatable kayaks. The guiding principle of these innovative boats has been the use of multiple materials in the construction to help reduce weight, plus the combination of a keel

and a high-pressure inflatable hull/floor to maximise the V effect and performance. The YAKKAir HP2 has been designed for two person paddling, but can easily be used solo by only mounting one of the seat / stretcher units in the centre of the kayak, where appropriate fittings have been incorporated in the design.

When you sit down in a YAKKAir HP, the high-pressure floor (1) presses down on the high-pressure keel (2) putting the PVC skin (3) under tension. Under the pressure of the water, the skin stretches and curves out to give the hull its high-performance double concave shape.

The Nomad is the newest addition in BIC Sport’s collection of High Pressure inflatable kayaks. It is a 2-3 seater, designed for leisure and trips.

As with the YAKKAir HP, it has a high pressure floor and a high pressure keel. Stable and powerful, it is ideal for family outings, 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children can take place in it. For outings, it has enough room for two kayakists and their equipment. It can be fitted with a full soft deck for full protection in adverse weather conditions.

The Yakka is innovative in concept and in design. Apart from its great performance, the rigid hull / soft

deck concept gives it plenty of character and it will quickly become the perfect partner for your water adventures. The Yakka can be set up in minutes: just unfold the hull sections, secure the center support and inflate the sides. For pack-down, simply deflate the sides and fold the hull closed. Once folded, its impact-resistant hull measures only 1.50m (59”) x 76cm (30”) and the inflatable bladders are protected by the durable and smooth PVC materials. The Yakka is an innovative concept and design that makes paddling accessible and attractive to a wide range of consumers.

DIabloOver 4m long, the Diablo Fishing has a good glide and lots of space. It is a stable and fast kayak which will make you reach your fishing spots effortlessly with all your fishing gear within easy reach.

TRINIDADCompact but wide, the Trinidad is the kayak for double paddling. It’s a highly stable boat, designed for solo or two-person fishing trips. It’s got great storage possibilities for your fishing equipment. It can be fitted with the appropriate mountings to take a small electric motor.

It only takes a few minutes to set up and is ideal for reaching difficult fishing spots. Its high-pressure keel and high-pressure floor with their solid PVC skin form a highly-efficient V shape hull. Lighter but as powerful and comfortable as a rigid sit-on-top kayak, the YAKKAir HP 2 Fishing can also be fitted with a protective canvas cover. It is made from sturdy material that will withstand potential damage from fishing hooks. The YAKKAir HP 2 can also be used for solo kayaking, leaving lots of room for all your fishing gear.

Fishing range kayaks are fitted with rod racks and watertight hatches for carrying extra equipment.
