Worked with High School Superintendents, KCTCS, and Jefferson County Subject Matter Expert, Debbie Anderson
Teacher Participation from Boone County High Schools, Grant County High School, and Kenton County High Schools
Outcomes:
Monday Morning: Teachers Prepare Off-siteTuesday through Thursday: Teachers work in a variety of areasFriday : Teachers prepare off-site how they will apply and report out to the hosted Companies.
Cannot put a percent on Return on Investment!!
• Educators gave priceless feedback to companies.
• Partnerships were built
• Educators became champions of KY FAME AMT Program

Goals:Recruit qualified and diverse AMT students to meet the enrollment goals of the NKY FAME Chapter
Expand recruitment initiatives to attract an increased number of students from independent schools, local ATC and CTC programs, and schools and programs outside of KY
Increase the academic profile of incoming AMT students, particularly in the area of math
Strategies:
Reach a wider audience of prospective AMT students through the use of social media

Recruitment
• Primary recruitment activities to take place September through December
• Priority application deadline: December 31, 2015
• Final application deadline: January 31, 2016
Interview
• Students screened for program eligibility (ACT, etc.) and scheduled for interviews starting in January 2016
• Application review and interviews will be conducted until a sufficient pool is established
Acceptance
• Chapter reviews interview feedback and makes acceptance decisions by March 2, 2016
• Draft for companies to take place on March 2, 2016
• Students are notified of their status (acceptance and sponsorship or waitlist) by March 4, 2016
Enrollment
• AMT students begin work at their sponsoring company: July 11, 2016
• New AMT Student orientation: TBD
• Fall 2016 classes begin: August 16, 2016
