Eric Clay graciously welcomed Ambassador Andrew as a 10+ year member of the Operation

Hope Internet Cafe, who also introduced attending and global members of AJAX such as Alicia

Hamilton CEO of The Revelation Network (http://trn.tv) and TJ Gibson

The presentation was concluded with an acapella rendition by TJ Gibson of his new song"The

Lite" written to commemorate the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and dedicated

as the theme song for the AJ Ambassadors of the Future program.

Ambassador later joined TJ on stage at the newest Hollywood hotel “W” (Metro Purple Red Line

Hollywood & Vine Exit) where AJ joined TJ’on stage when he performed “The Lite” and

introduced AJ to his entertainment family and audience attending the weekly 9pm shows on

Tuesdays.

Universal artist T.J. Gibson has provided our theme, “Future Leaders are the Light of the World”

originally written for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals 2015 as a Goodwill

Ambassador to the AJ Action Team AJ Ambassadors project.. with Donna J Bennett's A

BACKGROUND

Ambassador AJ is the diplomatic form of the original fantasy character named AJ the Little

Gombey who is distinguished by his traditional dance costume of a peacock crown, apron and

cape. The new form for Ambassador AJ, shows how AJ the Little Gombey adapts to the

conventional attire of the business suit as he learns to succeed in the corporate world. He wears a

Bermuda Onion badge as a sign of his oath of office to promote global unity.

No matter what outer form he takes, AJ represents an ancient mascot tradition that is thousands

of years old. AJ was inspired by the 400 year legacy of human settlement in Bermuda and was

created to serve as the universal curator of an intercultural dialog about reconciliation. AJ wears

an infectious smile and encourages us all to look at life through the innocent eyes of our inner

African child.

Although Ambassador AJ is “new” to the United States,

Bermudian Duvall Spencer created the character as a

cultural historian for his son over 20 years ago. Duvall is

a self-taught, visionary artist who uses his passion for

woodcarving and storytelling to inspire excellence in

team based environments. Duvall has experimented with

a range of organizations and technologies over the past

20 years to enable social rehabilitation through the

creative arts. His early interest in sculpting the physical

iconography of Gombey dance was rewarded with

a series of special commissions for the Cabinet Office,

Government House and the Pequot Museum in

Connecticut and is CEO of KatKing International.

You can follow the journey on The Revelation Network's AJ Island channel

(http://ajisland.trn.tv) AJ Island is named after a cultural icon named AJ the Little Gombey. AJ

the Little Gombey represents worldwide unity and peace using storytelling, music, fashion and

dance. AJ the Little Gombey combines traditional arts from Africa, Asia, Europe and the

Americas to achieve harmony and balance. AJ Island is an ecofriendly destination that is co-

created in “zero-time” to promote “unity in the community worldvibe, fighting with peace and

not for it”. The destination is designed to accommodate a variety of technologies and artforms

connected with the environmentalist movement.

As an AJ Ambassador you can play a big part in the expansion of this project. AJ the Little

Gombey is not just a character; he embodies the spirit of love toward our fellow man. As you

find your way around our island home, we invite you to “feel the love” and to “make your

mark” using the cultural icons of your choosing. And always feel free to follow the Gombey

drum as you discover the rhythm of your own personal calling in life!

The AJ Action Team brings a global perspective to the AJ Island project. The following

reasons have been agreed by team members as the basis for prioritizing the Bermuda strategy:

● The AJ Action Team is looking at global solutions that work locally. Solutions that

everyday people can see working for them. Bermuda is small enough for us to implement

many of our groundbreaking ideas and broadcast them to the entire world. It’s mixed and

diverse population mirrors many large urban populations like NY, London, Paris who are

experiencing urban violence, social unrest and other social and civil issues amongst their

populace. Bermuda is now beginning to experience the same sort of unrest.

● Bermuda is one of the earliest established and longest surviving forms of English

constitutional selfMgovernment in the Western Hemisphere, having a 400 year

parliamentary tradition (established in 1612) that survived the disruption of the 1707 Acts

of Union in Great Britain, the American Revolution and the decolonization era. This

means that what is achieved there is achieved under a system of government that many

western governments understand and trust and cannot dismiss.

● Bermuda was settled by English Adventurers to establish a foothold for a "Western

Empire" that would compete for prestige with dominant European powers. Over time,

Bermuda has evolved into a cosmopolitan island cityMstate with the capacity to be a

bastion of social reconciliation, peaceMbuilding and creative capitalism for all peoples.

● Bermuda is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom with a restrictive observer status

at most levels of international diplomacy. This rare status enables Bermuda to operate as

a strategic "outlier" of "superMdiplomacy" where individual integrity brings balance to

the traditional pragmatics of comparative advantage.

● Bermuda's unique balance of natural, technological and human factors has enabled its

people to enjoy one of the wealthiest per capita income economies in the world. This

unique wealth profile can be leveraged into parallel markets for risk transfer, knowledge

management and ecommerce solutions with a high degree of flexibility, agility and

efficiency compared to its closest competitors.

● Bermuda is still an undiscovered island for most people in the West, but there is a

universal interest in the infamous "Bermuda Triangle" that has been glamorized by

Hollywood since the 1950s. This notoriety can be tapped into by entertainment industry

players to create a "parallel universe" in popular imagination that facilitates new ideas

about creativity and storytelling. The AJ Island project that can "suspend disbelief"

while also inspiring the audience to attain far reaching goals such as the elimination of

poverty.

AJ Island is an ecofriendly destination that is co-created in “zero-time” to promote “unity in the

community worldvibe, fighting with peace and not for it”. The destination is designed to

accommodate a variety of technologies and artforms connected with the environmentalist

movement. But the essence of AJ Island is inspired by the legacy of the Bermuda CultureFest,

a grassroots festival that evolved into a national event for the people of Bermuda in the 1990s.

Page 5: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

5

The first national Bermuda CultureFest was held at an abandoned seaport for the British

Admiralty known as the Royal Naval Dockyard on the north-westernmost island in the chain

which comprises Bermuda, called Ireland Island.

This island is now the dominant hub for the cruise

industry in Bermuda and houses major cultural

attractions including shopping arcades, restaurants,

museums, art galleries and recreational outlets. The

Royal Naval Dockyard serves as the metaphorical

blueprint for AJ Island, and provides the impetus for

Ireland Island to be nicknamed AJ Island for team

building purposes.

There are real world consequences of the work ahead that

include but transcend “online” social media. KatKing

partners with Wilcommet LLC (ParXTC) through an AJ

Action Team collaboration with Donna J. Bennett’s A

Partnership for Peace (p4p) to attract a world class

vendor support network to effect real world change on

the Bermuda ecosphere and quality of life to demonstrate

United Nations Millennium Development Goals small

island nation solutions via Global Partnerships for

Development

These efforts began shortly after the devastating Haiti

Earthquake of 2010, with the collaboration including

technologists, social justice advocates and celebrity

humanitarians like U.K. Shlepp Records Chinese R&B

superstar, Ayi Jihu (http://ayijihu.com) that inspired Les

Hamasaki’s http://greeni.tv to adapt a Bermuda Green

Island Solar TeleVillage Proposal from their War on

Hunger, Ignorance and Poverty (WHIP) Initiative. See http://acelebrationofwomen.org/?p=9520

As we enter the latter half of 2012, the AJ Action Team and AJ Ambassadors will be focusing

attention on the AJ Island project from environmentalists, humanitarians, technologists, social

justice advocates and every day people from around the world to make an impact on this small

island that can impact changes around the world to improve the environmental sustainability of

Earth and on Earth.

Welcome Welcome to AJ Island, a unique place where ordinary people can do extraordinary things. AJ Island is named after a cultural icon named AJ the Little Gombey. AJ the Little Gombey represents worldwide unity and peace using story-telling, music, fashion and dance. AJ the Little Gombey combines traditional arts from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas to achieve harmony and balance. AJ the Little Gombey is simply irresistible because he appeals to the inner child in all of us. AJ Island is the ideal environment for self-discovery of these universal virtues. AJ Island is a super-microcosm of global collaboration. In this virtual community, we all have a chance to celebrate big ideas in a miniaturized way. Small truly is beautiful! And we are open enough to share our experiences with a global audience. As an AJ Ambassador you can play a big part in the expansion of this project. AJ the Little Gombey is not just a character; he embodies the spirit of love toward our fellow man. As you find your way around our island home, we invite you to “feel the love” and to “make your mark” using the cultural icons of your choosing. And always feel free to follow the Gombey drum as you discover the rhythm of your own personal calling in life!

Overview AJ Island is a virtual destination that exists in cyberspace to promote “unity in the community worldvibe, fighting with peace and not for it”. The destination is designed to accommodate a variety of internet technologies and artforms connected with the social media of the digital age. But the essence of AJ Island is inspired by the legacy of the Bermuda CultureFest, a grassroots festival that evolved into a national event for the people of Bermuda in the 1990s. The Bermuda CultureFest was held at an abandoned seaport for the British Admiralty known as the Royal Naval Dockyard on the north-westernmost island in the chain which comprises Bermuda, called Ireland Island. This island is now the dominant hub for the cruise industry in Bermuda and houses major cultural attractions including shopping arcades, restaurants, museums, art galleries and recreational outlets. The Royal Naval Dockyard serves as the metaphorical blueprint for AJ Island, and provides the impetus for Ireland Island to be nicknamed AJ Island for the duration of Bermuda CultureFest. At its maximum occupancy, Bermuda CultureFest will host about 10,000 cultural ambassadors and a post office, an emergency services crew, a volunteer police department, roads, houses, bars, clubs, restaurants, and dozens of cultural installations and participatory "theme camps". After a week, the festival is completely disassembled leaving the austere naval architecture of Ireland Island exactly as pristine as it had been when the event started. During the “limbo season” of Bermuda CultureFest, the promotional activity of AJ Island continues unabated in cyberspace where plans are made for future expansion.

The Scenario

AJ Island is the epicentre of a virtual-reality scenario motion picture (SMP) campaign that is driven by conflict-neutral policies and practices that help its stakeholders to fulfill the UN Millennium Development Goals of poverty elimination around the world. Like the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, AJ Island embodies the ethos of an entertainment industry studio sound stage that is also a theme park. But unlike the Magic Kingdom, AJ Island is dedicated to the twin concepts that "small is beautiful" and that "truth is stranger than fiction". At AJ Island, we use a pristine, immersive, protective island setting to design a world class "eco-studio" that is the springboard for a range of SMP documentaries showing how Bermuda's uniquely gifted social history can transform the global discussion about sustainable development.

KatKing Productions KatKing Productions (KatKing) is the local promoter of AJ Island using iconic imaging, storytelling and folklore to capture the imagination of the audience and then engages "appreciative inquiry" to create bridge the gap between creativity and problem-solving.

AJ the Little Gombey Kat King has created a community mascot named AJ the Little Gombey to symbolize "unity in the community". This mascot uses Gombey culture to show how African, European and Native American cultures can be combined to create an entirely new mode of expression that is universal in scope. AJ

4

Page 12: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

Island is named after this icon to set the stage for the emergence of AJ the Little Gombey as the pre-eminent “virtual reality celebrity” of a pristine multimedia environment.

The AJ Action Team Kat King has created an AJ Action Team to lead the AJ Island project. The AJ Action Team is a group of entrepreneurs, humanitarians, civil rights activists, peace ambassadors, film-makers, performers and artists who have come together to find working solutions to some of the world’s social and economic problems using celebrity, technology, charity, social media and art, to progress the UN Millennium Development Goals 2015. The AJ Action Team is specifically set up to work in and from Bermuda as our central hub to the world. Africa is the universally acknowledged priority in reversing poverty, but racial barriers inhibit the responsiveness of dominant institutions. We aim to use the spiritual closure provided by the UN Recognized Middle Passage Monument Project in international waters near Bermuda to break the racial stalemate and focus on solutions. Key members of the AJ Action team include:

● Duvall Spencer (KatKing Internation)● Andrew Williams, Jr (ParXTC, LLC)● Donna Bennett (A Partnership for Peace)● Stevie Eagle (Shlepp Records)● Les Hamasaki (Clean Energy Institute)● Alicia Hamilton (Hamilton Group Media)

AJ Ambassadors of the Future The citizens of AJ Island are called “Ambassadors of the Future”. All AJ Ambassadors are encouraged to strengthen mutual understanding between various cultures and make a positive contribution to social development using the folklife experiences as a tool for improved collaboration.

Why Bermuda? The AJ Action Team brings a global perspective to the AJ Island project. The following reasons have been agreed by team members as the basis for prioritizing the Bermuda strategy:

● The AJ Action Team is looking at global solutions that work locally. Solutions that everyday people can see working for them. Bermuda is small enough for us to implement many of our groundbreaking ideas and broadcast them to the entire world. It’s mixed and diverse population mirrors many large urban populations like NY, London, Paris who are experiencing urban violence, social unrest and other social and civil issues amongst their populace. Bermuda is now beginning to experience the same sort of unrest.

● Bermuda is one of the earliest established and longest surviving forms of English constitutional self‐government in the Western Hemisphere, having a 400 year parliamentary tradition (established in 1612) that survived the disruption of the 1707 Acts of Union in Great Britain, the American Revolution and the decolonization era. This means that what is achieved there is achieved under a system of government that many western governments understand and trust and cannot dismiss.

● Bermuda was settled by English Adventurers to establish a foothold for a "Western Empire" that would compete for prestige with dominant European powers. Over time, Bermuda has evolved into a cosmopolitan island city‐state with the capacity to be a bastion of social reconciliation,

5

Page 13: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

peace‐building and creative capitalism for all peoples.● Bermuda is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom with a restrictive observer status

at most levels of international diplomacy. This rare status enables Bermuda to operate as a strategic "outlier" of "super‐diplomacy" where individual integrity brings balance to the traditional pragmatics of comparative advantage.

● Bermuda's unique balance of natural, technological and human factors has enabled its people to enjoy one of the wealthiest per capita income economies in the world. This unique wealth profile can be leveraged into parallel markets for risk transfer, knowledge management and ecommerce solutions with a high degree of flexibility, agility and efficiency compared to its closest competitors.

● Bermuda is still an undiscovered island for most people in the West, but there is a universal interest in the infamous "Bermuda Triangle" that has been glamorized by Hollywood since the 1950s. This notoriety can be tapped into by entertainment industry players to create a "parallel universe" in popular imagination that facilitates new ideas about creativity and storytelling. The AJ Island project that can "suspend disbelief" while also inspiring the audience to attain far reaching goals such as the elimination of poverty.

What do we aim to achieve?

● There are several goals that the AJ Action team has developed that will have far reaching effects globally. We have highlighted the role that tele-villages can play to help the people of Haiti who need housing after the earthquake. However, many Bermudians also need alternative community architectures based on “new urbanism” rather than suburban sprawl. By setting up a special televillage prototype in Bermuda we establish a hub from which we can deliver these solutions to the people in Haiti and all over the world that need them urgently while at the same time providing solutions for the people of Bermuda. Our current goal is to situate a model at the Royal Naval Dockyard on Ireland Island that will be an example for other island communities.

● Our aim is not just to provide tele-villages but to teach people worldwide how they can live in greener way using solar power, waste management etc. The tele-villages can be used as learning centers, hospitals, nurseries etc. They can also be used as media hubs and we intend to set up a network of tele-villages based on our Bermuda prototype in conjunction with our celebrity Icon (Chinese star) Ayi Jihu we shall attract the eyes of the worldwide media and other stars and celebrities to our network.

● The AJ Action Team will to work with international heroes, artists, civil leaders and people to engage the youth and people of the world through social media, music, film and dance. Helping to put AJ Island on the international map for its unique approach to culture, music, art and history.

● The AJ Action Team would call our approach an "eco‐industry" model rather than an "eco‐tourism" model because the green technology at our disposal is needed by permanent/transient residents at the moment, more than tourists. We are also using the technology to introduce new self‐employment skills in both the physical and knowledge industries. We aim to show how these can and will work using AJ Island as the virtual reference point before taking these working solutions global.

How do we achieve our goals? The AJ Action Team has a working relationship with Spanish Town Entertainment to create a master plan for community empowerment based on the legacy of "unity in the community" that originated with the Bermuda CultureFest. In addition, we are partnering with the US-based organization called "A Partnership for Peace" to focus on eco‐industry events year round, beginning with the Bermuda CultureFest on June 16-18, 2012 at the Royal Naval Dockyard.Appendix I The Sally Port Eco Sandbox, Bermuda

Page 14: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

Background The infamous Sallyport dump in the West End for horticultural and metallic wastes, is very close to the Dockyard which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year, yet does not seem to be an environmental concern in Bermuda, as it would be in North America or Europe. Incredibly, despite this, the Snorkel Park water site was established here for locals and tourists. With the history of the dump, such a facility would not be allowed in the UK, USA or Canada. One of the grimmest places in Bermuda. Dumping has been illegal there since the Tynes Bay incinerator opened but is still carried on secretly - and much junk is still there. Much earlier, it was a Royal Navy dump site, cleaned up at British UK taxpayer expense when the Royal Navy left. Under Bermuda Government control now, there have been mounds of discarded metal and plastic piping, truck chassis and old engines. Other heavy industrial garbage was literally spilling into the ocean across a 150 yard stretch of coastline at the dump. In places, ocean water had a metallic sheen. (www.bermuda-online.org)

Sally port (From Wikipedia) The primary modern meaning for sally port is a secure, controlled entryway, as at a fortification or a prison. The entrance is usually protected in some way, such as with a fixed wall blocking the door which must be circumvented before entering, but which prevents direct enemy fire from a distance. It may include the use of two doors such as with an airlock. In older days a "sally port" was sort of a dock where boats would pick up a ship's crew and ferry them to the vessel, or vice versa, anchored offshore. (British navy, ca. 1600 to 1900), but it is used that way still especially in coastal Great Britain. However there are not many "old" sally ports left.

Etymology and historical usageThe word port is ultimately from Latin porta for door. Often the term postern is used synonymously. It can also mean an underground tunnel, or passage (i.e. a secret exit for those besieged). A sally, ultimately derived from Latin salīre (to jump), or sortie, is a military maneuver, typically during a siege, made by a defending force to harass isolated or vulnerable attackers before retreating back behind their defenses. Sallies are a common way for besieged forces to reduce the strength and preparedness of a besieging army; a sally port is therefore essentially a door in a castle or city wall that allows troops to make sallies without compromising the defensive strength of the fortifications.[1] Targets for these raids included tools which could be captured and used by the defenders, labor-intensive works such as trenches and mines, and siege engines and siege towers. Sometimes enemy laborers were also targeted. Often, the besiegers' beer and food supplies would be stolen or, if they were too bulky to transport, urinated in.[citation needed]

Modern usageModern personnel sally ports are used to control entry into highly protected and restricted military areas, e.g. nuclear weapons storage areas, highly sensitive (and large) conventional weapons storage areas, e.g. small arms, munitions, etc. Sally ports are also used to control entry to highly valuable civilian facilities such as currency or credit card manufacturing sites. A guard in a protected location (today usually physically remote from the actual sally port) will have control over the middle space between the two doors; the operation of the doors of the sally port; and the movement of all persons, materials and/or vehicles through the sally port. This sally port guard will have the means to check the personnel escorts and/or the credentials of all those persons, materials and vehicles to be passed into the protected space through the first opened door, prior to its opening. He will then monitor the sally transit to ensure that:

1. no more than the maximum allowed number of verified individuals/materials or vehicles are permitted and actually do transit into the middle space at any one time;

2. all persons vehicles and/or materials are cleared by the controller of the interior protected space (a second, separate individual from the controller of the sally port) to enter that secured space prior to the un-locking and/or opening of the second door;

3. the first opened door to the sally port is closed locked and secured prior to unlocking and/or opening the second door; and

4. the guard will ensure after the completion of a transit movement of persons, materials and/or vehicles through the sally port, that the middle space of the sally port is clear (empty) of all persons, materials, or vehicles prior to his securing (closing/locking) of the second door, to await the next movement through the sally port.

13

Page 21: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

Sally ports must be used with caution, and transit through them must be carefully monitored during any emergency or non-routine movements. The greatest safety hazard in use of these passageways is the danger of overcrowding the middle space between the doors. Since either door can only be opened while the other is closed and locked, overcrowding may occur in the middle space when too many persons, vehicles or materials attempt to enter it at once. Once the middle space is overcrowded, it may be impossible to properly close and lock the first door, thereby also making it impossible to open the second door, which of course is the only way by which people, vehicles or materials can successfully exit the controlled area. Even when the sally port has over-rides installed within the door controls and locking apparatus, the size of the middle space and the physical dimensions and layout of the door openings will act to hamper quick egress of a controlled space through a sally port type opening. Because of this danger, controlled spaces protected by sally ports usually have multiple sally port openings, safety zones within the controlled space (for internal evacuation w/o leaving the controlled area), and formally written and routinely practiced procedures for the evacuation of persons, vehicles or materials. There is also continuous supervision and monitoring of the total number of persons, vehicles or materials within the controlled space to ensure that the designed evacuation maximum (by whatever evacuation procedure) is never exceeded. Sally ports are also used to restrict the flow of people to one at a time so that intruders cannot pass into the classified or secure area on a cleared person's coattails. Military vehicular sally ports are similar to the personnel sally ports but have, of physical necessity, a large middle space to control the incoming/outgoing vehicle and personnel mounted in the vehicle. Mounted personnel are made to stand down, and the vehicles are inspected by guards. If the person or vehicle in the middle space is found to be unauthorized, the guard can "lock down" both gates, trapping the individual in question until a guard or police response force can neutralize and remove the person and/or vehicle. A sally port appears on the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Malta In the modern court building, a sally port secures the prisoners in a holding area or brings them directly from the jail area separating them from the court, with entry through the sally port controlled by the bailiff. In "supermax" correctional facilities, groups of inmate cells may be connected to central corridors via sally ports. An officer behind protective glass opens the port doors individually after verifying that the person is allowed to pass. Police departments may have an enclosed garage or other access point at a private door leading to their building so that an arrested person cannot try to run away as he is being transferred between a patrol car and a holding cell.[2]

THE  AJ  ACTION TEAM

The AJ Action Team is a group of the world finest businessmen and women, Humanitarians, Civil rights leaders, Ambassadors, film makers, Performers and Artists who have come together under the PAR12 group to help find working solutions to some of the worlds social and economic problems using celebrity, technology, charity, social media and art, to progress the U.N. Millennium Development Goals 2015.

BERMUDA   IS  SEEN  AS  THE  PERFECT  PLACE  FOR  US  TO  BASE  AND  BEGIN  OUR  MOVEMENT  OF  CHANGE  FOR  SEVERAL  REASONS.

• The AJ Action team is looking at global solutions that work locally.

Page 23: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

• Bermuda is one of the earliest established and longest surviving forms of English constitutional self‐government in the Western Hemisphere, having a 400 year parliamentary tradition (established in 1612) that survived the disruption of the 1707 Acts of Union in Great Britain, the American Revolution and the decolonization era.  This means that what is achieved there is achieved under a system of government that many western governments understand and trust and cannot dismiss.

• Bermuda was settled by English Adventurers to establish a foothold for a "Western Empire" that would compete for prestige with dominant European powers. Over time, Bermuda has evolved into a cosmopolitan island city‐state with the capacity to be a bastion of social reconciliation, peace‐building and creative capitalism for all peoples.

• Bermuda is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom with a restrictive observer status at most levels of international diplomacy. This rare status enables Bermuda to operate as a strategic "outlier" of "super‐diplomacy" where individual integrity takes precedence over traditional pragmatics.

• Bermuda's unique balance of natural, technological and human factors has enabled its people to enjoy one of the wealthiest per capita income economies in the world. This unique wealth profile can be leveraged into parallel markets for risk transfer, knowledge management and ecommerce solutions with a high degree of flexibility, agility and efficiency compared to its closest competitors.

• Bermuda is still an undiscovered island for most people in the West, but there is a universal interest in the infamous "Bermuda triangle" that has been glamorized by Hollywood since the 1950s. This notoriety can be tapped into by entertainment industry players to create a "parallel universe" in popular imagination that facilitates new ideas about creativity and storytelling.

WHAT  DO  WE  AIM  TO  ACHIEVE?

• There are several goals that the AJ Action team wishes to achieve.  That will have far reaching effects globally.  We have highlighted the Domes for Homes as our priority to help the people of Haiti who need housing after the earthquake.  However Bermudan too need housing as the cost of housing has risen so much in recent years people are now finding themselves unable to afford a place to live.  By setting up a special Dome village in Bermuda we hope to establish a hub from which we can deliver these domes to the people in Haiti and all over the world that need them urgently while at the same time providing Domes for homes for the people of Bermuda.  Our currently authorized site on Bermuda is Higgs Island.

• Our aim is not just to provide Domes but to teach people worldwide how they can live in greener way using solar power, waste management etc.  The Domes can be used as learning centers, hospitals, nursery’s etc.  They can also be used as media hubs and we intend to set up a Dome Tele‐village that will broadcast worldwide from Bermuda.  Using our celebrity Icon (Chinese star) Ayi Jihu we shall attract the eyes of the worldwide media and other stars and celebrities to our domes and Bermuda.

• The AJ Action Team intends to work with local hero’s artists, civil leaders and people to engage the youth and people of Bermuda through social media, music, film and dance.  Helping to put Bermuda on the international map for more than its beaches and shorts, but for its culture, music, art and history.

• The AJ Action Team would call our approach an "eco‐industry" model rather than an "eco‐tourism" model because the green technology at our disposal is needed by permanent/transient residents at the moment, more than tourists. We are also using the technology to introduce new self‐employment skills in both the physical and knowledge industries.  We aim to show how these can and will work using Bermuda and therefore be able to take these working solutions global.

Page 24: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

HOW  WILL  WE  ACHIEVE  OUR  GOALS?

The AJ Action Team has established a working relationship with the Ministry of Labour, Home Affairs and Housing, which validates adaption to assist their efforts in as many ways as possible.

In addition, we are partnering with A Partnership For Peace to focus on eco‐industry events year round, beginning with the July 2‐4 Festival of Hope, and spiking with the B2B Celebration For Peace Global Awards Ceremony to be held on October 31, 2010‐2020, including a Mega‐dome seating at least 500 guests.

Ideally, we'll install and "launch" a 24‐hour broadcasting channel from the Televillage on or around April 5, with the promotion for the Festival of Hope weekend, where we'll have a "satellite" Telemediahub set up near the stadium and a rented megadome installed at the airport, duplicating the "permanent" Mega‐dome in Bermuda, hosting a Black Tie audience, as will attend events throughout the Culture Fest Olympiad season (August 1 ‐ October 31, 2010).

Commencing July 25th Ayi Jihu (China’s no.1 international R&B Star) FAAVM International Goodwill Ambassador and Sun Earth Energy Special Envoy will arrive in Bermuda along with other members of the AJ Action team to spend time on the ground working with the people, artists, business and government to start focusing the eyes not just of the Western world but of the whole world on Bermuda.

Ayi Jihu’s BBC interview has already started the ball rolling. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/ukchina/simp/entertainment/2010/03/100305_vid_chinesesinger.shtml) Along with her press release/blog  (http://ayijihu.wordpress.com/2010/03/02/is‐the‐next‐prominent‐black‐voice‐chinese‐ayi‐jihu)   This has already begun turning the eyes of the world towards Bermuda and the issues The AJ Action Team wish to highlight.  Working with FAAVM, Ayi Jihu and using social Media platforms like Facebook where we have the support of their Ambassadors we are able to reach hundreds of millions of people worldwide a new audience.

About FAAVM The FAAVM is a non-profit organization, whereas our major focus involves using various multifunctional civil rights programmes to help our mostly disadvantaged, underprivileged minorities as men, women and children. Via the FAAVM multilateral humanitarian systems, and activities, we're able to reach out to these people who are very difficult to reach via more traditional-type programmes. We then use these activities to help improve the quality of life of these disadvantaged communities nationwide and worldwide. Our all-volunteer network nationwide program is comprised of several components, all having to do with providing meaningful and positive educational, socio-cultural, spiritual, economic, political and overall human development activities for our mostly economically disadvantaged nationwide and worldwide. A major objective is our use of national and international legally binding humanitarian instruments, norms, precepts and principles in order to intervene to outreach communities that are often very difficult to otherwise reach. We are then able to impact these communities in many positive ways. We promote early education, child welfare, gender equity, social justice, global peace and socio economic development, youth empowerment and the overall growth and advancement process. We emphasize on maximizing positive human potential, drug education/prevention, healthy living, decreased street violence, improved reading and writing skills, and learning to respect others from diverse backgrounds.

Our Mission

Our Mission is help to reduce poverty and encourage economic growth. The debate on globalization and the fights against discrimination only serve to increase awareness about how much is at stake in social development. Our goals are ambitious: to improve the quality of life and extend socioeconomic benefits and empowerment broadly throughout civil societies, governments and minority communities. Now we are seeking a growing consensus from both governments and wealthier communities around the world and a renewed commitment on the part of national and international civil communities and governments to collaborate and harmonize the many efforts under way. FAAVM organization is involved in nearly every aspect of human rights, civil rights and human development, with activities ranging from economic development and advancement, legislative research projects, global partnership and trade, to financial and technical assistance from governments and private enterprises. The FAAVM plays an important supporting role as developing communities to shape, and implement their strategies to reduce poverty and stimulate human growth. We also place a high priority on communicating knowledge about development.

Approach

Background information

Socio-economic, political, environmental and humanitarian issues and challenges facing communities worldwide, with few exceptions, are well known through numerous expert studies done over recent decades. Actions on recommendations, however, have not been forthcoming.

Key Criteria

a. Avoid the mistakes that have been previously made, and apply lessons learned. b. Serve to develop stronger collaboration and establish sustainable mechanisms. c. Address minority socio-economic issues with practical proven solutions.

Why the time is NOW?

Bermuda is a small island state that is a perfect environment for championing human rights, justice and the rule of law, and socio economic and political order. PARXTC and FAAVM have established the AJ Action Team to enable a group of accomplished and achieved international experts originating from all parts of the world; to deliver long term sustainable solutions to the Government of Bermuda and Bermudian citizens.

Why AJ Action Team?

The AJ Action Team has been established as a Global Group of Experts (GGE) specifically addressing and establishing sustainable structures and mechanism to offer long term solutions, with the proven expertise to deliver direct-action socio-economic, political, cultural, humanitarian and environmental programs to assist in implementing the United Nations Millennium Development Goals – UNMDG 2015.

Methods

The socio-economic challenges of Bermudians have been identified by on-going reports and studies, consultation with individuals, government entities and other national and international related institutions specializing in socio-cultural and political issues. The creation and establishment of AJ Action Team clearly responds with proposed practical and sustainable solutions and long term tangible projects.

Approach

AJ Action Team is established as an international group of experts with the proven track expertise required to lead on-going and long term projects to help Bermudan communities through local, national and international collaborations with individuals, civil societies and government institution for lasting results.

Transparency

Just as we anticipate, our continued cooperation shall have full transparency; we know that anyone who will be contributing financially or with equipment, facilities, and services will expect the same transparency from FAAVM and AJ Action Team. That is why we will be partnering with large national and/or international accounting firms that specialize in charitable and non-profit, businesses, government contracts, bookkeeping and financial services. Every donation, contracts and contribution will be recorded, tracked, and reported in order to ensure complete transparency.

Team focus

The AJ Action Team experts are involved in nearly every aspect of human rights, socioeconomic development, and political reform; humanitarian and environmental activities ranging from civil rights enforcement, human rights promotions, socio economic research, development and analysis, to financial and technical assistance to and from governments, private enterprises and corporate enterprises. The AJ Action Team shall therefore play a crucial supporting role towards developing paramount sustainable programs and projects to the Government of Bermuda and civil societies, aiming to shape and implement their strategies to stimulate socio economic growth.

Green Technology Institute, Inc.

Project Green Haiti is a roadmap to rebuild Haiti’s devastated economy into a green economy in order to create a sustainable future.

The Earthquake Emergency Solar Dome TeleVillage Initiative project offers a framework, platform, and tools for the homeless to gain the knowledge they need to direct their economic destiny and improve their lives.

The mission is to create a network of Solar Dome TeleVillage connected to the Internet and powered with solar energy throughout the country. Our vision is to educate and empower the poor and homeless of the world to gain the knowledge and capabilities that will enable them to create a high standard of living in a global sustainable future.

We are at the end of the Industrial Revolution and the beginning of the Green Technology and Information Revolutions in which renewable energy and digital technology will power and inform a new entrepreneurial Age of Distributed Power -- and Distributed Empowerment.

Project Green Haiti in 1995

In the summer of 1995, Les Hamasaki, President of SUN Utility Network, Inc. initiated Project Green Haiti in an effort to introduce solar thermal vacuum tube technology for solar medical autoclave system to sterilize medical instruments for a clinic in Port-au-Prince and for a hospital in Mombin-Croehu, a remote hospital. The project was funded through the Medical Benevolence Foundation in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Hamasaki joined a team of volunteers made up of Dr. Hank Watt, medical doctor and solar medical autoclave innovator Khanh Dinh to install the systems in Haiti with the help of local solar contractors. Solar photovoltaic systems were providing electricity to both of these facilities. According to recent reports, the solar medical autoclaves were still operating to sterilize medical instruments used for operations.

Homeless and Jobless to Homeownership Green Jobs Corps

The Million Solar Homes Foreclosure Jobs Initiative is a "Green Jobs Corps" framework plan and roadmap to transition America from the current Gray Economy built on coal and oil to a Green Economy built on renewable resources, sustainable energy, and energy conservation.

The strategic plan is to put millions of unemployed and/or homeless back to work by reinvesting in America’s energy security and energy independence. The goal is for the homeless to become homeowners as well as the jobless to become part of the growing green collar workforce.

The Man Productions

The Man Productions was founded in Montreal in 2005 by filmmaker

Sophia Male to produce the documentary "Democracy 4 Dummies".

Sophia shoots, edits, writes, directs, and produces, so The Man

Productions is a one stop shop. Since Sophia's last name is Male, she

thought it would be funny to call her production company "The Man", and she also takes great joy in

poking fun at "The Man". Her first film "Democracy 4 Dummies" makes fun of the political system, but

also teaches people how to use it. So she hopes we can all be "The Man" and in part wants to discourage

the feeling of victimization in an often corrupt world. In 2009, Sophia opened an office in Los Angeles,

and continues to develop her own projects and help others create their own films.

FAAVM Global Campaign to Help Reduce Illiteracy Rate by

50 per cent every 5 years Primary and basic educations for Rural People are preliminary steps toward reducing illiteracy and setting forth the stage to

communicate Sustainable Development knowledge to address rural-urban socio-economic and human and civil rights disparities. About 70 percent of the poor populations live in rural areas. Education is a basic right in itself and an essential prerequisite for achieving all the Millennium Development Goals including reducing poverty, improving the living conditions of rural people and building a food-secure world. Even so, children's

access to education in rural areas is still much lower than in urban areas, adult illiteracy is much higher and the quality of education is poorer. This is the reason why, in 2002, during the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), the FAO Sustainable Development Department - Extension, Education and Communication Service (SDRE) and UNESCO established a partnership on Education for Rural People (ERP) within the International Alliance Against Hunger (IAAH) and

Education for All (EFA) initiatives. The partnership seeks to address rural-urban disparities, which are a serious concern to governments and the international community as a whole. The partnership, led

by FAO, is a call for member countries, United Nations agencies, Civil Society, academic institutions and private sector for coordinated, increased efforts in targeting rural people’s needs by promoting increased access to quality basic education. FAAVM aims to play a vital role within a global movement to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults by 2015. The movement is launched in 2010 to advance the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to massively reduce illiteracy rate by 50 per cent by 2015.

FAAVM communities work to promote the following six (6) grassroots pillars to achieve global education and reduce illiteracy, and identified six key measurable educational programs which aim to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults by 2015.

The six educational pillars are:

Goal 1: Build and expand early childhood education, through community school programs Goal 2: Build and Provide free access to primary education and basic literacy courses for all Goal 3: Develop and deliver learning and life skills for young people and adults Goal 4: Reduce adult illiteracy by 50 per cent Goal 5: Achieve gender equity amongst boys and girls, men and women by 2015 Goal 6: Provide basic access to basic education

The FAAVM goals are to contribute to the global pursuit of the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), especially MDG 2 on universal primary education and MDG 3 on gender equality in education, by 2015. FAAVM has also pledged to lead the global movement and coordinate the international efforts to reach Education for All. We shall work alongside Governments, development agencies, civil society, United Nations bodies, humanitarian relief organizations, non-government organizations and the media to reach these goals firstly at the local levels.

Building Schools Campaign Oversees - Basic Access to Education for all

The benefits of education go way beyond the obvious advantages of improving life chances. In the world, as in most developing countries, life can be very precarious and education can be the key to a person’s very survival, and a route out of poverty. In our campaign activities we have seen many severely disadvantaged communities. Getting the means to provide sustainable help for them can be

very difficult. However, we shall work directly with NGOs, international Governments, Strategic Humanitarian Services, for the building and rebuilding schools, with a full feasibility study of the project, together with a complete breakdown of the costs involved and the level of community participation that has been promised and can be achieved.

Appendix

The United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UN-MDGs) 2015

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) were developed out of the eight chapters of the United Nations Millennium Declaration, signed in September 2000. There are eight goals with 21 targets, and a series of measurable indicators for each target. GOAL 1: ERADICATE EXTREME POVERTY & HUNGER

Target 1: Halve the proportion of people living on less than $1 a day

- Higher food prices may push 100 million people deeper into poverty - Conflict and natural disasters leaves many displaced and impoverished

Target 2: Achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all, including women and young people

- Full employment remains a distant possibility - Low-paying jobs leave one in five developing country workers mired in poverty - Half the world’s workforce toil in unstable, insecure jobs

Target 3: Halve, between 1990 and 2015, the proportion of people who suffer from hunger

- Rising food prices threaten limited gains in alleviating child malnutrition

GOAL 2: ACHIEVE UNIVERSAL PRIMARY EDUCATION

Target 1: Ensure that, by 2015, children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling.

- Enrolment in primary education

- Completion of primary education - Literacy of 15-24 year olds, female and male - Political will, coupled with targeted investments, have yielded widespread progress in primary

school enrolment, poverty’s grip keeps children out of school

GOAL 3: PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY AND EMPOWER WOMEN

Target 1: Eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education, preferably by 2005, and in all levels of education no later than 2015

- Ratios of girls to boys in primary, secondary and tertiary education - Share of women in wage employment in the non-agricultural sector - Proportion of seats held by women in national parliament

- Girls still wait for equal primary school access in some regions

- Women slowly gain ground in political decision-making, but progress is erratic and marked by regional differences, Job opportunities open up, but women often remain trapped in insecure, low-paid positions.

GOAL 4: REDUCE CHILD MORTALITY

Target 1: Reduce by two thirds, between 1990 and 2015, the under-five mortality rate

Despite progress, deaths of fewer than five children remain unacceptably high Vaccinations have slashed deaths from measles.

Page 55: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

AJ ACTION TEAM GLOBAL SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GROUP

S.O.U.N.D.S. of Sanctuary – 2010 Master Plan 30

GOAL 5: IMPROVE MATERNAL HEALTH

Target 1: Reduce by three quarters the maternal mortality ratio

- The high risk of dying in pregnancy or childbirth continues unabated in sub-Saharan Africa and

Southern Asia - Little progress has been made in saving mothers’ lives - Skilled health workers at delivery are key to improving outcomes

Target 2: Achieve universal access to reproductive health

- Antenatal care is on the rise everywhere - Adolescent fertility is declining slowly - An unmet need for family planning undermines achievement of several other goals

GOAL 6: COMBAT HIV/AIDS, MALARIA AND OTHER DISEASES

Target 1: Have halted by 2015 and begun to reverse the spread of HIV/AIDS

- Despite small victories, AIDS continues to take a terrible toll, especially in sub-Saharan Africa In almost every region, women represent a growing share of people living with HIV Prevention program are yielding results

- Antiretroviral drugs are adding years to peoples’ lives, but the need for treatment still outpaces the available supply

- Planning for children orphaned by AIDS is increasing, but tangible support is slow in coming

Target 2: Achieve, by 2010, universal access to treatment for HIV/AIDS for all those who need it

- Antiretroviral drugs are adding years to peoples’ lives, but the need for treatment still

outpaces the available supply

- Planning for children orphaned by AIDS is increasing, but tangible support is slow in coming Target 3: Have halted by 2015 and begun to reverse the incidence of malaria and other major diseases

- Despite tremendous progress, use of insecticide-treated mosquito nets falls short of global targets

- New malaria treatment strategies are effective, but underutilized - Progress towards tuberculosis targets is mixed - Halving the tuberculosis prevalence rate by 2015 is unlikely

GOAL 7: ENSURE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Target 1: Integrate the principles of sustainable development into country policies and programs and

reverse the loss of environmental resources

- Immediate action is needed to contain rising greenhouse gas emissions - Success in limiting ozone-depleting substances is also helping to mitigate climate change

Target 2: Reduce biodiversity loss, achieving, by 2010, a significant reduction in the rate of loss

- Marine areas and land conservation need greater attention - Deforestation slows and more forests are designated for biodiversity conservation - The number of species threatened with extinction is rising rapidly - Fish stocks require improved fisheries management to reduce depletion

Page 56: Bermuda Cultural Ambassador AJ Gombey and AJ Action Team 2010-2012

AJ ACTION TEAM GLOBAL SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GROUP

S.O.U.N.D.S. of Sanctuary – 2010 Master Plan 31

Target 3: Halve, by 2015, the proportion of the population without sustainable access to safe drinking

water and basic sanitation

- Almost half of the world’s population face a scarcity of water

- More people are using improved sanitation facilities, but meeting the target will require a redoubling of efforts

- In developing regions, nearly one in four uses no form of sanitation - Though access to improved drinking water has expanded, nearly one billion people do without - Women shoulder the largest burden in collecting water

Target 4: By 2020, to have achieved a significant improvement in the lives of at least 100 million slum

dwellers

- Simple, low-cost interventions could significantly improve the lives of many slum dwellers GOAL 8: DEVELOP A GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR DEVELOPMENT

Target 1: Address the special needs of least developed countries, landlocked countries and small

island developing states

- Development aid falls for the second year, jeopardizing commitments for 2010 - Development assistance will have to increase substantially to double aid to Africa by 2010

Target 2: Develop further an open, rule-based, predictable, non-discriminatory trading and financial system

- Market access for most developing countries is little improved - Domestic agricultural subsidies by rich countries overshadow money

spent on development aid - Trade-related assistance needs to be increased

Target 3: Deal comprehensively with developing countries’ debt

- Developing countries are shouldering less debt

Target 4: In cooperation with pharmaceutical companies, provide access to affordable essential drugs in developing countries

- Poor availability and high prices are barriers to access to essential drugs in developing countries

Target 5: In cooperation with the private sector, make available benefits of new technologies, especially information and communications

- Mobile phones are expanding communications in developing countries

- Internet use is increasing rapidly, but the poorest regions lag behind
