Mx4 STORMSUBMACHINE GUN

Futuristic.Marrying the modern, almost futuristic look and theuse of light and robust polymeric materials withsuperior performance, versatility, ergonomics, reliability and safety was not an easy task but theresult has now been unveiled. The new Beretta Mx4Storm full automatic submachine gun, simple to use,is a defense and Law Enforcement firearm ideal forprofessional use by police forces and special troops. Thanks to its incredible comfortable handling, theMx4 Storm is especially indicated for use in narrowand space-limited places.

Full automatic power. The Beretta Submachine Gun Mx4 Storm is featu-ring a blowback type locking system which has bothsemi-automatic and full automatic fire capabilities in9mm NATO (9mm Luger) caliber. The quick remo-vable, high capacity magazine (30 rounds) allowsrapid reloading and extended use in emergencysituations.

Versatile. The Mx4 Storm can be enriched with numerousaccessories which render it even more practical foruse by police force professionals. Side, top and bot-tom Picatinny rails, various types of vertical grips, flashlights, optic and Laser aiming systems, carryingsling, tactical gun sleeve, spare magazines and bipodsare available on request.

Ergonomic. Extensive use of technopolymers has allowed thedevelopment of a light and technically advancedfirearm as well as equipping it with very modern, extremely captivating and ergonomic lines. Roundedforms are snag free, facilitating handling and rapidshouldering and aiming. The extractor, ejector, maga-zine release button, manual safety and cocking hand-le are easily reversible for right or left hand use. Therubber recoil pad and comb contribute to the com-fort of the shot and improve results. Stock spacersallow the lengthening of the stock to adapt it to con-formations, apparel or use of the firearm.

Precise and reliable. The blowback type locking system and the boltsafety ensure reliability, great stability and precisionin follow up shots. The cold hammer forged (riflingincluded), Ni, Cr, Mo steel barrel is chrome lined formaximum corrosion resistance and increased barrellife. The muzzle is threaded in order to mount optio-nal silencer devices. A protection cap is supplied tocover the thread. The front sight is fully adjustablefor windage and elevation while the rear sight haslong and short range apertures (50 and 100 m).Both sights may be folded down when optics areused.

Easy to field strip. The disassembly mechanism consists of a latchfound below the cocking handle. It is designed toallow an extremely quick and simple field strippingof the submachine gun and also to avoid casual orinvoluntary disassembly.

Top safety.Manual Safety / Fire selector device. The three position safety/selector device can beeasily operated by means of a single cross-bolt but-ton, situated on the lower receiver assembly rightand left side, so facilitating the Submachine Gun usealso for left-hand shooters. The positions visible on the fire selector are the fol-lowing ones:

• red band visible (position "1") - single shot;• red band visible (position "R") - full automatic fire;• red band not visible (safety position).

Loaded chamber indicator. The loaded chamber indicator is a small tab thatprotrudes from the bolt when a round is in thechamber. The tab is located on the ejector of theMx4 Submachine Gun and can be both seen andfelt, allowing the user to check the chamber for theincreased protrusion of the tab. The loaded cham-ber indicator is reversible for right or left hand use.

Reversible for left-handed users. Stock length can be adapted. Adjustable folding front sight.

Side and bottom Picatinny rails, front grip (optional).

Bolt release lever. The bolt release lever allows the closing of the boltwhich remains in the open position after the lastround from the magazine has been fired (magazineinserted). This permits the user to immediatelydetermine that the Submachine Gun does not havea round in the chamber or in the magazine.

Bolt travel stop. This safety system is an inertia device which avoidsthe complete opening of the bolt in case the sub-machine gun is dropped, preventing the accidentalintroduction of the round into the chamber or theejection of the chambered cartridge.

Automatic Firing Pin Block and Safety on thehammer. The Beretta Mx4 Storm has a blocking device thatprevents forward movement of the firing pin unlessthe trigger is pulled and a device that prevents thedisengaging of the hammer itself. These features areintended to prevent discharge if the SubmachineGun is dropped or if the hammer is unintentionallydropped without pulling the trigger.
