Armed with paint rollers, buckets of paint and the willingness to prepare a conducive learning and teaching environment for students and faculty, respectively, this coming school year,

volunteers of Belle Kaagapay took part in this year’s Brigada Eskwela at Tranca Elementary School in Talisay, Batangas.

This year’s Brigada Eskwela drew employee volunteers from Belle Corporation’s Finance, Governance and Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, and Treasury Departments. Executives from SM Prime Holdings, Inc. and employee volunteers from Highlands Prime, Inc. also joined the annual event held last May 29, 2018.

effort and intense heat.

Meanwhile, what motivated Sheila Recto, Belle Corporation Human Resources Assistant, to join anew was the joy of volunteerism. “I feel happy whenever I join Brigada Eskwela,” said Ms. Recto.

Aileen Brusola, Tranca Elementary School Teacher and Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, expressed her gratitude to Belle

Corporation and the employee volunteers and requested for continued support to the school.

Brigada Eskwela is a program of the Department of Education where teachers, parents and education stakeholders perform maintenance work in schools particularly classrooms.

Belle Kaagapay is the corporate social responsibility arm of Belle Corporation, a developer of tourism and leisure destinations in the Philippines.
