Start by attaching both lift brackets to the inside of the bed base towards the head of the bed. The bottom arm of the brackets must be parallel to the top and bottom edges of the bed base.

Next, attach the thinner ends of the pistons to the bottom pin on the lift brackets, by using the four nuts provided.
