Authenticity has been a big thing on my mind lately. It's easy to be swayed by our experiences, the people wemeet, and the places we've seen without stopping to ask ourselves if we've remained true to ourselves, is thisreally who we are, is this really the direction we want to go, and do we really want to emotionally andmentally invest our time in this?

I often think about what mark I want to leave on the world. I'm in awe of people who seem to be very in tune

with their purpose on earth and what gifts they can contribute to the service of others, whether it be the giftof music, design, intellect, innovation, or even writing about clothes on the Internet. I wonder how thesepeople actually pinpoint what exactly it is they want to do; what is it in their core that lets them know that thisis exactly what they're meant to do? For me, my problem is I love so many different things, but I'm not goodat anything.

Maybe I'm not seeking out my opportunities as best I can or making the best of the position that I'm currentlyin. It's hard when you lack passion, though, which goes back to my thoughts about authenticity. Only time willtell and I guess this is why this blog still exists. I'm accountable for everything that comes my way, bothnegative and positive. I'm the hero and villain of my own story, and I sure as hell don't need saving.

Very true. And indeed, it's not easy to find out who you truly are.

Its also difficult knowing exactly what you want and what you want to do but not having a way to go

    about achieving it :/.

...but that wasn't what I was going to say.

*You have and always will be such an inspiration to me. I love your style and your writing style. You

are such a real woman. A REAL blogger and very relatable. In this community today it is difficult to

find someone so authentic and passionate about what they do. T hank You for being you!

I feel that we, as human beings, are always going to be looking for our self. Just don't give up, I know

someday you will find you meaning in all of this thing called life. And I don't know why you say you are

not good at anything because to me you are a great writer.

Sometimes we find ourselves up to a point where we're just lost and we have no idea how the hell we

ended up here in the f irst place. And that's okay!

Like a machine, our body and mind tends to reset itself fo r no good reason. I would call it

rejuvenation. Be calm, go where the wind blows and you'll find your focus.
