Bilbao Exhibition Centre Bilbao is growing beyond its traditional boundaries. Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) has been the new exhibition centre for Bilbao, Bizkaia and Euskadi since 2004. Although the BEC is in Barakaldo, we can appreciate the renovation both of Bilbao proper, as well as the Greater Metropolitan Bilbao.

columns or physical barriers with
a capacity of over 20,000 people.
Provincial Government of Bizkaia, Basque Government, BarakaldoCity Hall, Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao and Bilbao City Hall alljoined forces as partners of the BEC to ensure the new exhibitioncentre would offer more possibilities than the old exhibition hall inBilbao. The 98 m. high BEC tower stands ostentatiously on the leftbank, an area which has presented no problems in accompanyingBilbao's architectural development.
