2nd Basel Elbow Surgery CourseInstructional Course 26 – 27 February 2016
University of Basel, SwitzerlandAltius Swiss Sportmed Center
Dear Colleagues,
Elbow surgery is a rapidly evolving fi eld in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. New implants and treatment concepts have to fi nd their way into clinical practice. In this course we will give you an overview from advanced to highly specialized knowledge in elbow surgery.
This knowledge will be conveyed by a renown national and international faculty. Participants will not only have the possibility to discuss current topics but also be able to practically test market-leading implants. At least 14 cadavers will be available.
After our highly successful “1st Basel Elbow Surgery Course” with a reknown faculty from all over the world, we are happy to now invite you to the second issue of our practical elbow course. The course will again be held at the known Anatomic Institute of the University of Basel, Switzerland. We will profi t from modern Thiel-fi xated cadavers (soft and natural) and be able to demonstrate the newest and also most commonly used implants. The main focus, however, will be to practically work and thus creating an OR-similar environment.
With this cadaver course, the University of Basel wants to enhance practical knowledge not only on minimal-invasive, arthroscopic elbow surgery but also on reconstructive methods as well as elbow prostheses.
We are happy to welcome you in Basel.
Yours sincerely,
Andreas Müller MD Claudio Rosso MD MSc
