THE U18 SPORTS MEDICINE PROGRAM AT JOE DIMAGGIO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

With locations in Boca Raton, Hollywood, Miramar and Coral Springs, the U18 Sports Medicine Program was developed to treat and prevent sports injuries in young athletes. The team is comprised of fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital: Dr. Michael Jofe, Dr. Randolph Cohen, Dr. Neal McNerney, Dr. Stephen Storer, Dr. Jeremy Frank and Dr. Eric Eisner.

The U18 rehabilitation department is comprised of doctorate-level physical therapists, many of whom also have certifications in orthopaedics and sports medicine. In addition, we extend our expertise into the community by providing certified athletic trainers to area high schools to prevent, evaluate and manage injuries. Our team also works hand in hand with coaches, parents and athletes by providing educational opportunities on the prevention and management of injuries.
