About

Inside: Barbati Point House is beautifully furnished and finished throughout and

features numerous large French windows serving a dual purpose: to provide

seamless access to the myriad terraces outside and to create a luminous, airy

atmosphere inside. The main entrance to the house takes one into a raised gallery,

which is home to an elegant dining area overlooking and accessing, via a few steps,

the voluminous living room. High, beamed ceilings, comfortable sofas, a large

fireplace and a series of double doors leading out to the pool area make for an

extremely homely and comfortable ambience. Just off the dining area to one side is

the well-equipped kitchen, which leads out onto a shady and panoramic breakfast

area. To the other side are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with two bathrooms,

one with shower and one with tub and shower attachment. This area, depending on

your group composition may either be used as a separate apartment with its own

external access or as more of an open family space. The two bedrooms open out

onto a shared balcony overlooking the pool terrace. On the first floor, accessed via a

flight of stairs in the hallway, are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with

tub and shower connection, and a twin room with shower room opposite. One of the

doubles has its own private balcony with stunning views over the pool and the sea.

Outside: life at Barbati Point House is all about the great outdoors, in the sense that

the outdoor areas are truly great! A large, fully furnished terrace with superlative

sea views runs for the whole length of the house, offering plenty of space for

everyone in your group. The focal point is the stunning gated infinity pool, which

gives bathers the sensation of being able to swim out to sea. Next to this is a small

circular plunge pool, whose shallow depth and size make it ideal for the youngest

members of your group to enjoy some watery fun. Two al fresco dining areas

complete this wonderful terrace, one just outside the kitchen - perfect for breakfasts

and lunches - and one under a shaded pergola with timeless views over the sea and

coastline. And as Barbati Point House comes with a full-time cook, all you will need

to do is select a dining area and wait for the gong to be sounded! Last, but certainly

not least, a path leads from the terrace down through the gardens, past an olive tree-

shaded relaxation zone, to your own very personal jetty, the long pebble beach and

the sparkling sea.

Exploring the local Area

Barbati Point sits on the beautiful northeast coast of Corfu, approximately midway

between Corfu Town (to the south) and Kassiopi (to the north). A drive of about 30

minutes will get you to both. The beach of Barbati, home to a couple of tavernas, a

restaurant and a bar, is a stroll away while for those who enjoy walking in the

countryside, Mount Pantokratoras, the gateway to Corfu island's northern hinterland,

rises just a few kilometres away. On its southern flanks is the charming little town of

Spartilas, which gives a taste of how life used to be. For a more worldly experience,

a short drive down the coast will bring you to buzzing Gouvia with its large marina

and plenty of opportunities for watersports. There are also many activities for kids

nearby.
