regattas individually for a long time and there is a natural pullforce between three nations of Baltic states;

2. S ailing is a way of becoming closer to the environment, a way of enjoying life, experiencing power of water and the excitement of participation in competition. The race itself is an adventure thatbrings out the passion and motivation we feel inside;

3. With the independence of Baltic countries and their membershipin European Union, new tendencies has been brought into our everyday life style :

Now, when it is freely achievable, experience of Offshore sailingis an object of desired knowledge of both racing and cruisingteams of sailing boats.There are plenty of joint enterprises between nations of Balticstates, who like to widen their activities and to occupy nicheswhere they are the best.

Thats why Baltic Open Regatta is in line with currentdevelopment of relationship between newcomers of European Union.

When organizing Baltic Open Regatta publicity campaign we strive to startinforming the media about the upcoming activities early on through pressreleases, photos and the announcement of participation of most awardedteams from Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian.Press activity we maintain by periodical information regarding organizationalsteps of Regatta. Press Release agency is involved in management of

constant press focus.We initiate interviews with the sailing teams about preparations in respect of Baltic Open Regatta early in the spring. The video material of theseinterviews will be mixed in final video material in order to show preparation,performance and final stages of teamwork in the races.On the regatta opening day a press conference must be held, where morethan 30 Medias will be invited. The news should be differentiated into threestreams : a) life-style; b) hot news service (BN S ); c) sport news.

This wide spread gives an opportunity to reach large audience.

B altic Open R eg atta A project with the mission to expanddevelopment of sailing to the area of the S ea around Latvia, Estonia andLithuania includes social function.This function is realized as a rule of regatta, that allows having a youth ina team (from 13th till 21 year old). Theyouth for each yacht could beselected from the most perspectivedinghy sailors that supply nationalsailing clubs, and allocated to theteams of sailing boats by decision of Major J udge. The educational aim of regatta : to give a possibility for teamsto widen experience of sailingperfection by participation in regattasinternationally and in mixed teams.

smallest amount of calculated time (CT) in their class.

J udge team : one major J udge, 3 local judges in three countries andprotest committee, following regatta.

S upplementary maintenance : Powerboat for accommodations and tripsof judges, correspondents, photo and video team.Public relation agency : public relations.

Advertising agency : organizational part and performance of culturalevents.Participants :

Attribution Feeding Fueling Arrival and departure : arrivals from different countries will have discount for

stay in the harbors-participants one week before and one week after event inorder to deliver the boats to and from the event.

Free of charge Harbors for participants.
