BAC Wedding and Civil Partnership

Step through the Grade II* listed doors of Battersea Arts Centre for a beautiful and unique space to hold your wedding. Housed within Battersea’s former Town Hall, we have a long history of hosting wedding receptions and civil ceremonies in our Grand and Lower Halls, and now also have the Council Chamber, which has been used as our main theatre space for the last 30 years, available for weddings.

Many couples choose our venue for the flexibility it affords them, as well as the perfect creative environment of BAC. Whichever space you decide on, it is yours for the day and you can decide exactly how you want it to look. We can offer as much support as you require and provide a bespoke service and range of packages to make planning as simple as possible. Our Technical Team will be on hand to discuss lighting designs and sound and our in-house caterers can work with you to create the perfect menu for your special day.

BAC Events can offer various delicious, homemade menus to suit every wedding from vintage afternoon tea parties to traditional three-course dinners, party canapé selections to authentic African feasts, whatever your favourite food, we can create it. To keep things simple, we have a range of standard menus to choose from. But if you feeling adventurous or if you’ve got the perfect meal planned out in your head already, our team is happy to create bespoke menus for each wedding. Once the food is chosen, next thoughts go to drinks. The perfect way to continue the celebrations, we offer a range of bar options for your wedding including our standard drinks menu, bespoke cocktails or even our favourite wine from Argentina. From the initial meetings with catering and bar manager to the final plate being set down on the top table and the last glass of champagne being poured, our experience team will happy to help to make your day perfect.

BAC aim to provide a bespoke and personal experience for all weddings. We have a range of technical and style services that we can provide. Your needs and requirements will always be discussed in full before any packages are chosen, and options range from a simple lighting design to compliment your flowers, to a fully realised theme or design such as a Winter Woodland theme, or Vintage Tea Party. Our experience and creative team will discuss all your ideas, and we can provide everything from the name plates and napkins to table centres and the bouquet.

From experience we recommend you consider the following items to have a successful wedding or civil partnership:

- What are your lighting requirements?- What are your sound/music requirements? - Do you need any other technical support?- What are your catering requirements? Have you looked at our Wedding menus? - Which bar / drinks options will you need? Have you looked at our Drinks options?- Start and finish times (you will need to factor in set-up and clean up time into your hours of hire)

We are always on hand to answer and questions and to support you in producing a perfect and memorable event. The above packages are recommended suggestions, however we are happy to discuss any ideas that you may have for your special day. We always ensure that every wedding is tailored to our client’s specific requirements.

- All rates are inclusive of VAT - All Weddings and Civil Partnerships in the Grand Hall and Council Chamber must - be finished by 11pm and the venue vacated by Midnight. - Should you not choice our in-house catering then all packages allow you to bring in caterers of your choice and includes use of our Grand Hall Kitchen where - appropriate - All Weddings and Civil Partnerships in the Lower Hall must be finished by 10pm and the venue vacated by 11pm - Deposits are required on all bookings. It is only your Holding Deposit which secures your date
