This course covers on the sampling statistics, population parameters, the probability theory (Baye's Theorem), random variables, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, analysis of variances, correlation, linear regression. Topics focus on analyzing and applying the results from statistical program.

Examines the process of strategic management and analysis of internal and external environments for higher-level managers to make decisions on vision, objectives, and strategies. Analyzes factors affecting strategic implementation and techniques of controlling and evaluating strategic management.

BA 421 Corporate Governance for Value Creation 3 credits

Prerequisite : Forth-year student This course studies corporate governance as a factor creating economic value to entity. The

components comprise management for value creation, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and mechanism of corporate governance in details, including roles of directors, corporate culture, risk management, control, monitoring and evaluation. financial markets due to various variables will be explored. resolve financial problems and issues encountered by management in the real world of business. The course emphasizes on the management of asset structure and financial mix. Discussion covers the application of financial models and instruments on managing the asset, liability and equity so that the goal of maximizing enterprise value can be sustained. This course studies the importance and types of credit as well as loan decision process for both corporate and financial intermediaries. This course encourages and facilitates students to spend their summer semester in business organization of their approved choice in order to obtain practical business finance experience. Total internship hours must be at least 200 hours.

FN 399 Practical Capability Development in Finance 3 credits Prerequisite : Third – year student majoring Finance

Students must follow the rolls and regulations regarding the internship as required by the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy. FN 425 Financial Viability Study 3 credits Prerequisite : Fourth-year student with finance major

A study of various tools and techniques used in financial viability study. The course covers fundamental knowledge in conducting business plan, feasibility study of various types of projects including new projects, expansions, fixed assets replacement, projects delay, and termination of projects. Real Options method will also by included in evaluation of the feasibility of project and various long-term investments. In the second part of the course, students will work in group project to conduct business feasibility study of their approved choice.

An analysis and evaluation of equity instruments. The analysis begins from economic analysis, industry analysis, and then company analysis. Students will learn various approaches in security valuation such as ‚Discounted Cash flow‛ approach and ‚Relative value‛ approach.
