Biz Bash turned 10 this year! A shout-out to our Supporters for celebrating with us. Since its inception in 2001, Biz Bash has donated more than $4.8 million to Arizona and Colorado nonprofits serving children and families at-risk.

Child Crisis Arizona serves children and families by protecting Arizona’s

most vulnerable children from abuse and neglect by helping to create

strong, successful families. With a vision of a community where children

and families have the support and opportunities they need to thrive, they

strengthen families through: education, intervention, licensing and training

foster and adoptive families and by providing a safe environment for

children to learn and heal.

Phoenix-based A New Leaf serves more than 17,500 homeless

individuals and families each year, providing a broad spectrum

of support services to help them succeed. From basic needs to

career development to budgeting, A New Leaf focuses on providing

the critical skills to achieve lifelong independence. Successes are

measured by employment, healthier lifestyles, enhanced life skills,

high school diplomas/GEDs, college degrees, and savings accounts

and self-sufficiency. In addition to the basic needs of food and shelter

services, other resources include affordable housing solutions,

behavioral health and case management services, foster care,

counseling, financial literacy and coaching.

Biz Bash hosted 575 guests at The Venue Scottsdale who dined and listened to the smooth sounds of Aaron Neville and Quintet featuring Charles Neville. Biz Bash brings together friends for philanthropy and fun – all while raising money for a good cause.

This year’s silent auction was the most successful in AZ Biz Bash history, raising more than $48,000. A big Biz Bash thank you goes to Coffin & Trout Fine Jewellers for their three-year partnership with their donation of an exquisite Rolex watch featured in the Watch This! raffle. The raffle was responsible for helping raise more $51,000 for our Biz Bash beneficiaries since 2014.

Aaron Neville, influential musician and R&B artist,

played to a full house on Sept. 29. His energetic

performance brought guests to their feet as he

played number one hits, “Everybody Plays the

Fool” and “All My Life” and a repertoire of his

soulful musical hits.
