12.00 Monks and lay people gather outside for a procession round Victoria Square.

12.30 - 14.00 Presentation of flowers and chanting by Birmingham Buddhist groups in variousstyles in the Buddha Gallery, plus two cultural items and a brief talk from the curator.

Ven. uttaranyana will give a blessing afterwards and lead the transfer of merit,which this year will be for the children'scharities supported by the Lord Mayor.
