AX 2012 R2 v3 VM on VirtualBox Quick Points

Updating/Correcting IPs within the VM Run ncpa.cpl (Network control panel) from the command prompt (-R).

Find the adaptor with the 169.x IP address by looking at the status and then details:

Set the adaptor with IP address of 169.x.x.x to a static IP of 10.20.12.101 , subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and DNS server 10.20.12.101 (points back to itself as a DNS server).

Add the following IPs with subnet 255.255.255.0:

10.20.12.110

10.20.12.111

10.20.12.112

10.20.12.113

10.20.12.114

10.20.12.120

10.20.12.121

Restart World Wide Web Publishing Service Reset the w3svc (World Wide Publishing service) from the command line:

1. net stop w3svc 2. net start w3svc

Rearm Windows Server 2012 License When the original time runs out, rearm Windows 2012 OS (180 days): slmgr /rearm from the command prompt

Rearm Office 2013 License Rearm Office 2013 (30 days): "cscript ospp.vbs /rearm" from the command prompt in the "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15 directory
