    Unconference

An unconference is an event format that encourages wider and deeper participation. Even

the agenda of the event is evolved 'on-the-fly' by the participants. Informality, sharing, and

soliciting alternative techniques/point of views are definign characteristics of an unconference.

AWS Workshop and Unconference is designed to highlight both the Technology Platform

Provider( ie AWS) side of the story as well as the Technology Users side of the story. While the

workshop sessions are primarily about the AWS platform, the unconference is all about the AWS

platform users. A few pre-announced talks/demos seed the unconference, while there is ample

opportunity to present inpromptu talks/demos. The invited/pre-announced talks/demos are by AWS

users sharing about their experience of deploying AWS in production.

The impromptu talks/demos are typically 3-6minutes slots. A startup presenting their AWSuse case, nifty tips and tricks related to an AWS service, sharing about cost comparisions etc make

good impromptu talks. Here are a few illustrative example topics:

How to host static websites using S3. Or Your awesome website for less than Rs 25 per

    month!

Elastic IP alternative using Zerigo DNS api.

The HOW TO and advantages of booting up from Elastic Block Store(EBS)

Let your imagination flutter, Come, participate in the Unconference and make it a

    massive success, Your Success!
