The Dowden Terrace Swimming pool has extended its season to allow a doggy swim. The pool level will be lowered and steps in the shallow

end allow easy access for those wanting to ease the way into the water. There is an acre of grassy and treed hills for those who choose to use alternative exercise. Life Guard will be on duty. There will an

adoption event and Pavilion tables for dog organizations. The pool is located just minutes from I-395, Seminary Road or Columbia Pike, in a cul de sac community. Enter on Dawes Avenue across Seminary Road from the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College and the Coca Cola Company Plant. Please check the Dowden Terrace
