State-of-the-art Systems

Avrio Group offers several products and services that interoperate seamlessly to form a comprehensive

surveillance solution. Called the Rapid Deployment Surveillance System (RDSS), this system includes

both permanent and mobile camera units that can be easily deployed on street light poles and buildings.

Our approach couples high-end IP cameras and high-throughput wireless backhaul radios in a NEMA en-

closure (PoleCam) that can be deployed in a few days and easily relocated if the need dictates. Unlike

wired solutions that are more time consuming and costly, our wireless video solutions can deliver upon

fluid and lifelike video in real-time to a command and control center located anywhere in the City or even a

mobile command center.

Past Performance to Guarantee Results

Avrio Group is entrusted by some of the largest cities in the United States for public safety as well as the

Federal Government to provide technology solutions to protect our borders. The following is an overview

of just some of our successes:

Local and State Government Provided dozens of major U.S. cities with wireless video surveillance systems in support of public safety

and port security initiatives. Systems included wireless mesh, point to point and microwave technologies as

well as IP and analog camera systems with IP-based head-end equipment for a turnkey approach. Avrio

Group currently supports these systems on a national basis through a call center located in Maryland.

Federal Civilian Agencies Converted an aging analog CCTV system including hardware matrix switcher to 100% software solution.

Leveraged existing analog cameras and provided new IP cameras in areas that required higher resolution and

frame rates.

Department of Defense Provided Army base with in-vehicle license plate recognition systems including camera, cabling, docking

stations and electronics.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Avrio Group provides modernization to border patrol remote video surveillance system sites across the

southern and northern borders of the United States. Tasks include Remote Video Surveillance (RVS) site

microwave path realignment and project completion as well as modernization of head-end and command

and control room equipment to convert analog video to IP.
