Greetings from the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman! Welcome to AVENIR 2021 - a global educational and career guidance programme for students of national and international boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, Cambridge International and the International Baccalaureate across MENA region, India and South East Asia. This global event will also be open to a large number of students and their parents to familiarize them with educational opportunities available with renowned universities from all over the world. ‘AVENIR’ a French word meaning ‘the future or time to come’ is a platform where students participating will be empowered to confidently make wise career decisions. The event is scheduled to be organized in the month of October 2021(from 20 th to 24 th October 2021 and from 28 th to 31 st October 2021) under the auspices of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman, and hosted by Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir. AVENIR 2021 holds special prominence this year as it is for the very first time that we go GLOBAL and invite student participation not only from the local Indian schools in the Sultanate of Oman but also invite and anticipate the partaking of the students from the other school boards viz. CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and the IB, spanning across the MENA region and countries across south east Asia. The highlights of the event will be career talks by high profile professionals from different fields; sessions on enhancing soft skills and 21st century work and careers; motivational addresses by world-renowned speakers from different fields; webinars by famous universities of India and those globally acclaimed; and success stories of lauded entrepreneurs and professionals. It is in this context that we extend our cordial invitation to your esteemed university that is one of the premier institutions recognized worldwide. It would be our privilege to have you partner with us in our mission to stir up the minds of students with diversified higher education opportunities and motivate them to choose the course of their interest and calibre.
