1. General Extension Settings



To configure extension settings please go to Stores -> Configuration -> Amasty Extensions - >Automatic Related Products

Indicate the maximal number of queries (product views and purchases) for a specific time period basing on which the module will gather statistical data and display related, up-selling and cross-selling products.



Click here after all necessary settings are specified.

1. General Extension Settings

Specify how many up-selling products will be shown in the up-selling block at a time.


Set the option to ‘Yes’ to replace manually related items with the ones generated automatically.

2. Up-selling product display settings (general settings)

Enable this option to display only ‘in stock’ products.

Specify the time period basing on which the module will gather statistical data and display related, up-selling and cross-selling products.

Define if products selection is based on product views or purchases.

2. Up-selling product display settings (data source – Bought Together)

Choose this value to make the extension select products basing on the number of items purchased together with the chosen product.

You can specify the order status that needs to be considered when the system selects matching products.

2. Up-selling product display settings (condition settings)

Conditions section allows to provide more exact block settings

Specify whether auto-generated products will be selected from any category or from the same category with the chosen product.

Price condition defines if auto-generated products can have any price or the price should be higher or lower.

Choose whether to select products of any brand or of the same brand with the chosen product.

2. Up-selling product display settings (Brand Condition)

If brand Condition is “Same As”, you need to specify what attribute in your store corresponds to Brand Attribute (pick up from the field below)

3. Related Products configuration

Related Products settings have the same logics with the Up-sells and can be configured the same way.

4. Cross-Sells configuration

Cross-Sells block configuration is pretty the same except for one point: Condition section isn’t available for Cross-Sells products.

5. Frontend examples

Cross-Sells block configuration is pretty the same except one point: Condition section isn’t available for Cross-Sells products.

Here’s an example of the ‘Up -sells’ block on a product page that shows items of the same category with the chosen one viewed by customers in one browser session .

Here’s an example of the ‘Cross-sells’ block displayed on the Shopping Cart page. It motivates customers to make impulsive purchases.
