RECAP – L.A.T.E BIKE RIDE CHICAGO
Mike Duff, JQ, Gary Jasica and wanna-be Skunk Corey braved the late-late night bike ride on Sunday morning, July 10th. With staggered group starts for over 4,000 people, we left at 1:15 am. Riding the neighborhoods to Humbolt Park, we were cheered by all the partiers from the bars and by families from different neighborhoods. It was really fun to see all the people coming out to see us. The ride is easy -- 25 miles of flat -- the tricky part is navigating the intersections. Fortunately, Chicago's Finest helped us through the main intersections. The return was more calm, as we were on the bike path along the lake. We had a lot of laughs and a good time. Maybe you'll join us next year!
FALL WEEKEND AT GINTARA’S
Join the Skunks for a great weekend where we enjoy staying at beach cabins on
Lake Michigan, bike riding, visiting local wineries and of course having a
bonfire on the beach.
The trip is currently full with 20 participants, but if you are interested in joining
us, please contact JO. We will try to get more cabins as needed, but availability
is limited so please call as soon as possible.

Windy City Ski and Snowboard Show
Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center and Hotel
1551 N. Thoreau Dr, Schaumburg, IL 60173
Friday October 21 – Sunday October 23
The Windy City Ski and Snowboard Show will once again be held in Schaumburg, IL at the Renaissance Hotel. Our club will have a booth set up just like last year. This is a great way to introduce potential new members to our club (gained 10 new members last year) and show them what a great time we have on the ski trips and the social outings that we do. As always we are looking for volunteers to help with the setting up of the booth as well as working a shift at our booth on those days. Interested people or anyone with questions should contact Membership Chairperson, Scott Brighton (see contact information below). All help is deeply appreciated and we are looking forward to a successful representation of our ski and snowboard club at the show. Parking is free and admission to the show is free for all volunteers.
