GTR featured multiple contests
and competition. It all began
with a series of weekly quiz
competition which ran for 10
weeks and set the tone for the
leaderboard
By the time of the conference,
there were 137 teams that had
participated with more than a
1000 entries for the QuizATAhon
alone. The position in the
leaderboard was also
determined by the papers that
were submitted for the
conference. There were more
than 80 papers that were
submitted.
The highlight of the contests was
that entries were submitted
across experience levels. This
was done to encourage young
budding testers to come out
and share their experiences and
propagate learning.
The event featured, ATA’s very
own BugATAhon which has seen
many testers test out
applications in limited time to
discover bugs and make
applications better. There was
also a workshop on how testers
could be engaged from the
very first day. There was a
special workshop on Testing the
Mysterious sphere highlighting
the engagement of testers, and
making testing more relevant
than just executing test cases.
