At the heart of the AT Fidelis are two lasers with complementary wavelengths in terms oftheireffectonsoftandharddentaltissues.TheNd:YAGlasershowsthemosthomogenouspenetrationindentaltissuestoprovideeffectivehemostasisanddisinfection.TheEr:YAGlaser shows the highest absorption in water and hydroxapatite for effective hard tissueprocedures,aswellasprovidingmicron-layersofttissueablation.
For optimal effects, Fotona AT Fidelis is the only laser system that allows the user to select from five Er:YAG pulse durations; from 0,05 msec (SSP mode) to 1,0 msec (VLP mode), and from five Nd:YAG pulse durations (from 0,2 msec to 20 msec).
AT Fidelis features the broadest range of Er:YAG parameters, from the finest low power soft tissue treatments to the world’s fastest hard tissue ablations.
Comfort Mode for standard pre-set procedures. The practitioner only adjusts the laser power to control the procedure speed. An extreme case with 20W maximum power (with 1000 mJ pre-set pulse energy) is demonstrated.
Advanced Mode to fine-tune special proce-dures. A low, 1W power setting with the finest adjustable pulse energy of 20 mJ is shown.
