Yellow Warning – reason for card is explained to the child and a chance is given to put right the behaviour.

Red Consequence – the child to attend lunchtime study support with a Senior Leader to complete work which has been missed due to poor behaviour. Note in planner and discussion with parents regarding behaviour.

Use of inappropriate language, bullying or violence result in an instant red consequence.

‘Time out’ with a Senior Leader [LP, EB or KJ] Senior Leader to decide if discussion with DHT / HT is necessary.

Three or more red consequences in a week – observation of behaviour and safety strategies by a senior leader, after school detention, discussion with parents, behaviour programme to implemented

Swap Shop Stars are awarded by staff to children who demonstrate

exceptional behaviour in any of the following areas:

Making the right choices Showing respect and good manners Being kind, helpful and considerate Caring for the school and looking after

property Working hard and showing an ‘I can do it’

Each class will have 5 Swap Shop Stars to reward a day

1 Swap Shop Star = 5p Once 10 Swap Shop Stars have been earned

they can be spent in the Swap Shop When all children have received 20 Swap

Shop Stars they earn a class party
