A model that is both very rare and fast appreciating, thisbeautiful DB2 Vantage Drophead Coupe epitomises theworld leading brand of Aston Martin.

A restored DHC Vantage such as this is always going to be highly desirableproposition, but add to that the car’s fascinating early competition historythat is well documented in the Aston Martin Owners Club register, and youhave something truly special. In its early life, it was campaigned in avariety of club races and European rallies with some success, and iseligible for all of the historic and classic car rallies. This late DB2 benefits from a world renowned Aston Workshop restoration, including a fully restored body & chassis, full re-trim and a brand newhood, and is sure to grace any venue with its presence.

It is also fitted with the original factory 2.6 litre Vantage engine which hasbeen fully rebuilt and up-rated by Aston Workshop including all newinternals. It has several features which endow this beautiful Aston with a ‘modern’driving feel including an up-rated 5-speed gearbox, electronic powerassisted steering, electronic ignition and a very modern 3.5.4 rationlimited slip differential.Other mechanical work undertaken during its restoration includes the re-assembly of the front and rear suspension with new bushes and bearingsplus new clutch and brake components. But technicalities aside, this is a truly exceptional and very attractive DB2DHC Vantage, one that offers the potential purchaser an opportunity to buynot just a car, but a rare piece of Aston Martin heritage.
