Tourism and trade for developmentThe Forum’s T&T and Enabling Trade programs
The openness of nations is an important enabler of competitiveness and development. Particularly in developing countries, travel & tourism (T&T) and trade are important growth drivers. The logistics and travel & tourism sectors should work collaboratively with policy makers and other relevant stakeholders to remove barriers to the movement of people and goods, and encourage productive travel and trade.
The World Economic Forum’s Enabling Trade and T&T programs delve into the fundamental attributes that govern nations’ ability to benefit from trade and T&T. They provide a concrete basis for dialogue between different stakeholders on fostering trade openness and a welcoming and sustainable travel sector.
