    AssalamAlaikum,

I have a small question regarding the Iblees (shaitaan). I listen to Tafseer almost everyday and have listenedabout the anecodote regarding Adam (peace be upon him) and Iblees in many places. And Iblees's challenge to

Allah that he will find Human being not worthy of being Ashraf-ul-makhlooqaat. Now, I have two small questions:

    1. From Quran Tafseer it seems Iblees was very obedient of Allah but he became disobedient only when he wasasked to accept supremacy of Human beings. And to prove to Allah that he was correct he requested time till

Doomsday. And Allah granted him his request. If Allah had not originally destined Iblees (read shaitaan) purpose of misguiding human beings then what was he

originally destined to do. Allah knows everything and must be knowingIblees's disobedience in advance for sureso 'sajda to Adam (pbuh)' was just preplanned or Allah had given Iblees some independence on choosingbetween right and wrong like human beings. Please note same rights are not given to Angels. They are just

    Allah's robots.

    2. In Quran Allah says that Iblees and Human beings who get waylaid by Iblees and believe in him, will burn inhellfire. When Iblees is already destined to be in hellfire why is he still so relentless in his pursuit to prove he wasright and Allah was wrong (nauz-billah).

Now, brief answer to above 2 questions are " Do what you are asked to do and dont question what Allah had inHis plans". But if you read tafseer, then you will find there are many such things which do not affect our daily lifeand submission to Almighty but was still explained by Allah. Is there anything regarding the above two questions or it is just part of what is called as mutashaabihaat (Al-e-Imran verse 7) and hence we should not waste time and energy in it.

Allah knows the best and we seek forgiveness from Him.

    RegardsTasin
