To setup your Financial Reports Path: Spider>Finance >Financial Dashboard>Financial Reporting Wizard >Setup Templates
The Monthly Report and Financial Statement have been set up by default. You can create your own or modifiy the existing ones.
[Edit] see below (a) Shows the pages that have been set up by default you will have the following:

How to modify the existing Monthly Reports
1. Select the button as shown

This screen show you the template reports have been preset – they can be changed, deleted etc. You will need to have an idea of what you would like to show on your Monthly Reports
1. [Headings] These are the pages that have already been set up
2. [Introduction] You can change the Title here
3. [Information] Put you data in here
Then select [Next]

(a) To edit report: Change page order, delete page, rename page etc
First you set up the Headings that you wish to show

to move report up on down
Edit report Title etc from #5
Delete page
2. [Title] Name of report page
3. [Section Format] T = Text , R= Report, Enrolment = E etc from #5
4. [Report Type] What type of report format are you wanting to show e.g. Ledger Report, Variance Report from #5

How to modify the existing Financial Statements Report This screen shows you the reports that have already been set up – so that you can add your own data reports etc.

How to create new pages (Titles)
1. Select the button as shown
Example of how to add a cover page from either template screen :
1. [Title] Type the name you wish to call this page
2. [Section Type] Select [Text] from drop down

Creating and Editing Reports from either Monthly Reports or Financial Reports Example we will do is from the Financial Reports but the procedure is the same for both Monthly and Financial Reports
Select [Financial Statements]
1. [Title] Your new Title will now appear e.g. [Cover page]
2. [Title] This can be changed Select if required
3. [Information] Now to enter what you would like to show here

1. Logo – select [picture icon] and
a) [Choose File] or b) [Image URL] copy and paste your URL here c) [insert Image]
2. Select Style from [Style] dropdown or use Bold and font 3. To insert your school picture select [Picture] 4. Hyperlink select [link button]

Adding Reports from e.g. your Auditor
Copying and pasting from a word document etc – the formatting will be dropped when bring in, you will have to reformat using this programs formatting functions.
Adding your own reports from PCSchool e.g. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet etc
1. [Title] you can edit or change the title
2. [Ledger Report] select the report you wish to show
3. [Report Format] select the format you wish to show 4. [Text Before Report]
5. [Preview]

Wait a few minutes as it is creating the report – then a PDF will appear at the bottom of your report which you can then save, print, or attach to email.
