CEIC3005 Aspen Simulation Quiz No 2 Thursday 10/09/2015 Quiz description The purpose of this quiz is to assess your ability to use Aspen® Plus to solve a reactor problem. The quiz will use the skills developed over week 1 to 6, however, students are advised to watch Aspen video #4 and read tutorial #7 to thoroughly prepare for this Quiz. The quiz is based on one problem and consists of five with 5 questions. You will have 50 minutes to complete the simulation and submit your answers after you open the quiz in Moodle. The quiz will be held on Thursday the 10 th of September. Students may take the quiz once in the normal Aspen simulation tutorial times. The process equipment consists a pre-heating element, a plug flow reactor, a cooling element and a flash separator to separate the desired production from its bottom stream.
