Please note all timetable information contained in this

booklet relates to 2018/19 academic year but may be subject

to change

If you would like to use any of the colleges transport provisions you must book a seat

by completing a transport booking form – these are available on the College

website, or from the Transport team (01904 772225). Seats are allocated on a

strictly first come first served basis.

Students must show their student ID along with their college provided bus pass to the

driver before travel will be allowed. The buses will operate from the first day of term

(September 2018). The buses will try and adhere to the printed times but are subject

to prevailing traffic / weather conditions.

All College funded transport will leave campus at 16.30 for the return journeys. All

pick up points will be stopped at for drop off.

PLEASE NOTE:

College funded transport does NOT include your travel to and from pick-up points.

Train tickets will no longer be reimbursed (except in very specific circumstances which

have been authorised and agreed by a member of the Senior Management team)

Dirty boots/overalls must NOT be worn whilst on College transport. You will be asked

to remove them if see wearing

YOU ARE REMINDED THAT AT ALL TIMES WHEN BEING TRANSPORTED ON

COACHES OR MINIBUSES: -

i) Smoking or the use of naked flames is not permitted (including the use of e-cigarettes)

ii) Reasonable standards of behaviour, particularly towards others, are expected at all times. Bullying will not be tolerated and any passenger suspected of such behaviour will be immediately removed from the use of college transport until a full investigation has been completed.

iii) The carrying out or consumption/use of alcohol/controlled substances is not permitted.

iv) Knives and other sharp objects are not to be carried on any college Transport under any circumstances.

v) The carrying of any fire arm or ammunition is not permitted. vi) Wilful damage to vehicles or their contents or interference with anything

provided for, in the interest of Health and Safety, is not permitted. vii) Where seatbelts are provided, they must be worn at all times. viii) Animals may only be transported on the buses if approval is given in advance

by the Student Transport Manager and will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.

If your place on College transport is taken away from you, you will not be entitled to

getting other means of transport reimbursed.
