Asiser is a Spanish medical service company that forms part of the ASISA Group (Leading Health Insurance company). Created in 2006 as a private medical service company, Asiser provides quality and affordable healthcare solutions.

The health program offered is not an insurance. It is designed to complement any health service model with no contract limitations on the basis of age, pathology or current health status.

Since 2009 Asiser provides medical assistance for expatriate employees, travel insurance policy holders and foreign patients.

• ASISA was founded in 1971 as a health insurance company created by LAVINIA medical cooperative.

• Its non-for-profit nature allows to allocate the annual benefits towards effective improvement of the medical assistance quality, medical technology and specialized training for physicians.

• After 40 years of operations it has maintained its positions among the three leading health insurance providers in Spain.

Asiser-Foreign Patient Case ManagementAsiser was contacted by our client, requiring our urgent assistance to a patient. John Smith was working on a ship in the Mediterranean Sea, near Barcelona, when he had suffer severe finger injury. Our medical emergency team made an assessment guidance by telephone, evaluating the necessity of a surgery.

Asiser organized the medical appointment with a specialist in "Sagrat Cor", one of our hospitals in Barcelona. John Smith went through a successful surgery that required a follow-up exam in a week. However, the patient could go back to his ship after spending 24 hours in our hospital.

Review within a week ... Yes, but the ship had moved from Barcelona and John was already in Mallorca.

Asiser coordinated the follow-up appointment in our clinic in Mallorca, so that John could have the post-surgical exam available there and the medical process was completed positively.
